Chapter 16- "I Miss Him"

~Nadwe POV~

"what time is aunt coming home?" Medz asks looking at his phone for the time

"she should be home soon" I reply and he nods

"we're gonna turn on a movie if you wanna watch one with us" Meme says as they walk over to the couch and sit down

"yea sure, Medz and I will go make some popcorn" I say and the nod while Medz and I walk to the kitchen. We get the popcorn bag and put it in the microwave as we wait for it to cook and Medz starts a conversation as we wait

"so Nad how have you been holding up since your dad..." he asks in a soft voice and I pause. I don't talk about this often... to anyone because its such a sensitive subject for me and I miss him so fucking much, and since he died, Mum hasn't been the same like she goes to work every day pretty much and Meme and I rarely see her.

"I miss him... a lot. And Mum isn't the same because she works her ass off everyday and we rarely see her but when we do she is usually asleep because she's so exhausted and I hate seeing her like this. I wish everything was back to the way it was! I just want dad back to help look after us and to be here to watch Memegod and I grow up" I say as tears starts streaming down my face and Medz pulls me into a hug as I sob into his shoulder

"I want him back" I sob as he shushes me and gently rubs my back

"it'll be ok, I can talk to your mum if you want and tell her to stop over working herself. I am a doctor after all and she should listen to me because I know what's best" he offers and I nod (Medz is one reason Meme wants to become a doctor too)

"yes please do" I reply sniffling as I look at him

"Alright, I will try to when she gets home" he says and I smile

"thanks. Dad would be so happy for Meme, he always said that they'd probably end up together because of how close they were" I laugh slightly as tears still fall down my cheeks

"I always thought he'd end up gay, either that or a player" Medz says laughing and I laugh with him, sniffling at the end

"the popcorns ready, we should join them" I say and Medz smiles

"if you're ready to, just wipe your cheeks" he smiles and I do so before we walk out to the lounge where Meme and Socks are cuddling while talking

"oh hey, we thought you'd never come back" Socks laughs and I playfully roll me eyes

"we were just- talking" I say and Meme looks at me sympathetically as he see's I'd been crying. He is one of the few people that know what I look like after I cry so that's how he can tell.

"ok, well what do you guys wanna watch?" Socks asks as Medz and I sit in the free spots on the couch

"how about breaking bad?" Meme asks and we all agree so we start watching it while we eat popcorn and wait for mum to get home.

~Tbh POV~

I finish my shower and get half dressed, only wearing the boxers and wearing them lowly so that my v line is showing, just to see Blaza's reaction. I walk out of my bathroom with the hoodie in my hands and I close my bathroom door behind me, Blaza looks up from his phone and stares at me as his cheeks turn pink

"take a photo, it'll last longer" I say as I pull the hoodie over my head and he looks away, his cheeks still pink.

I then crawl over to him on the bed and sit between his legs and lay my head on his stomach facing him as he turns and looks down at me smiling

"did you like what you saw?" I ask and he grins looking down at me

"maybe" he replies and I laugh

"you can't deny it, I can feel you liked it" I respond and he looks at me confused before realising what I mean and he goes to say something but I laugh and lean up to kiss him a he kisses back before we soon pull away smiling. We sit in silence for a minute before I suddenly say

"I love you" he looks down at me shocked but smiles happily and kisses my forehead

"I love you too" he replies as he rests his arms around me, hugging me tight. I wrap my arms underneath him and hug him back, snuggling my face into his chest

"wanna go to sleep now?" he asks and I nod and get up going next to him and we both get under the covers. He moves over to cuddle with me and I turn off my Led lights with the remote before cuddling into him too. Both of us soon drifting of to sleep.

*writing this is making me feel single, especially bc I just got out of a relationship*

~Meme POV~

After about 20 of watching breaking bad, the front door opens and mum comes inside and closes the door behind her. She looked exhausted

"hey bo- Oh hi Medz, haven't seen you in what? 6 months? not since your uncles funeral" Mum says as she drops her bag and comes over to give Medz a hug, then she hugs Nadwe and I too. She looks at Socks and I cuddling and gives us a strange look

"we're dating" I admit and she looks at us shocked but smiles

"I knew you two would end up together at how close you guys we're. for how long?" she states

"about ugh what 3 weeks?" Socks says looking at me and I nod

"yea about 3 weeks I think" I reply and she smiles at us

"how come you didn't tell me baby?" she asks me

"because you're never home anymore, this is probably the longest conversation we've had in a long time" I answer and she looks at me sadly

"I know, I've asked my boss for 2 weeks leave so I can spend more time with you kids because I know I've been overworking myself way too much" she says and I smiles happily

"good" I reply and Nadwe gets up and hugs her

"anyway, I'll let you guys keep watching your movie, I'm gonna go have a shower" she says as her and Nadwe pull apart and we nod as she leaves the room

"I guess I didn't need to talk to her about it, she just figured it out herself" Medz says to Nadwe

"what?" I ask and he smiles

"earlier Nad asked me to talk to aunt to stop over working her self and stuff because he misses spending time with her, and she would have to listen to me because I'm a doctor" Medz answers and I laugh

"oh ok, I'd hope she would" I reply and he laughs before we all get back to watching the movie.

Soon my eyes feel droopy as I rest my head on Sock' chest, slowly closing my eyes and soon I drift off to a sweet sleep.

I wake up looking around realising I'd fallen asleep in the lounge room on top of Socks. I look down to see him still asleep and Nadwe and Medz aren't here anymore, I'm guessing Nad went to his bed and Medz either left or is asleep in the spare room.

Suddenly I hear a voice from underneath me and I move slightly to see Socks' eyes still closed but he's talking to me

"Go back to sleeeeeppp, I want more cuddles" he groans stretching his arms out and yawning. I just smile at how cute he is but cuddle back into him as he wraps his arms around me tight and protectively, both of us soon falling back to sleep all cuddled up together.
