The five of you were standing in Toby's kitchen, breathing heavily when the silence was broken. "Toby-pie! Is that you?" Toby's Nana's voice chimed from another floor of the house. "Don't mind us, Nana. We'll just be in my room," Toby calmly replied as you all begun making way for the room. "Keep the cat inside!" his faint voice spoke with the sound of a refrigirator-door opening and closing behind you.

Toby's house really was something else. Reasoned by his Nana, the house looked and smelled like old people. Family-photographs hung along the walls and wooden figures of cats and such gathered dust on most shelves. You liked it. It was comforting in a way.

Soon, the five of you were gathered in Toby's room. Blinky and Jim roamed around the room, thinking, as Toby sat in his bed and shoved chocolates and red apples in his mouth. You were sitting on the wooden floor, facing him. "Any- Anyone else want a snack?" he stuttered in between bites. AAARRRGGHH was sitting next to him on the floor, enjoying the wrapping paper of the chocolate bars. "I find stress eating calms me down," he continued. "Can I try one of those candybars?" you asked, pointing at the bowl. "Of course," Toby replied, throwing you one.

"I'm sorry to say, master Jim," Blinky replied calmly, but soon grabbing Jim by the shoulders in a more hysterical manner, "but your town is infested with goblins!" "Ok, trolls, I can deal with because, at least, trolls stay underground," he said, breaking loose from Blinky's grip. "But goblins? I don't even have the bandwidth to-" "Jim, we gotta get my Chubby Tracker back," Toby interrupted. "As long as they've got it, they're just gonna get stronger and faster," he insisted, running out of the chocolate bars. "Must find den," AAARRRGGHH replied, grabbing the porselain bowl from Toby and eating it.

"Yes, and eradicate them at once before they seek their revenge," Blinky plotted. "Revenge?" Jim shrunk. "On you three," Blinky said, pointing to the three teens in the room. "And they now know where Tobias lives." You finally took a bite of the chocolate, almost melting in your hand by now. It was nougaty and sweet. You begun to understand why Toby liked them so much. "So, we find their den," Jim concluded, placing himself on the bed next to Toby. "You must have some idea." "Haven't the foggiest," Blinky grumbled, the sound of his hard thinking almost hearable. "It could be anywhere."

He was thrown out of his own brain by the sound of Chompsky wandering around his dollhouse. Blinky turned to it and looked inside one of the windows. "Oh no," you muttered, halfway down the bar of sweet chocolate. "Great Gronka Morka!" Blinky exclaimed. "What is the gnome doing in this dollhouse?" he shunned, moving back away from it. You stood up and moved close to AAARRRGGHH, giving him the red wrapping paper to chew on.

"Toby-pie? I don't recognize that voice. Who is that?" Nana's voice came from outside the door, making Tobias roll his eyes. "It's a friend, Nana! I do have more than one!" he yelled in reply, folding his arms with a smile. "No, you don't," Nana replied as you climed onto the bed behind the boys and laid down, snickering.

"You told me to take care of the gnome, so we're taking care of it," Jim said. "This is in direct violation of rule number two!" Blinky exclaimed, his finger almost in Jim's face. "And you Y/n!" he moved to you, making you sit up. "Why didn't you do anything?" he asked. "He'd the Trollhunter, and I belive the Trollhunter makes the right decisions," you replied calmly, Jim turning to you with a soft smile on his face. "Whatever happened to finishing the fight?" Blinky went on, Jim turning back to him.

"And rule number two is to always be afraid," Jim replied, standing up from the bed, "except if you're around goblins 'cause they smell fear." He begun walking slowly from the bed with no target in mind as he let out everything he thought about the rules of trollhunting. "Your rules make less sense than algebra, which- oh, yeah- I have in a few hours, unless I get eaten by goblins tonight," he rambled, waving his arms firmly around, using his bodylanguage to help put pressure to his point. He then, stopped.

The gnome in the dollhouse chattered, peeping out of the window to see what made such noise. "I'm sorry," Jim sighed. "I'm no good at understanding your rules. I'm not ready for Draal, Bular or finding a stupid den of goblins," he admitted as Blinky approached him softly. "As your trainer, I can only advise, not make your decisions," he softly spoke, placing a gentle, blue hand on Jim's shoulder. "I understand. You're human. You're learning the rules in your own way," he smiled, leading Jim to sit back down the to Tobias. "AAARRRGGHH and I will seek out this den, wherever it may be," he continued in a smile as you gently placed one hand on Toby and Jim's shoulders in friendly comfort. "You just focus on your studies," he finished.

"It seems life had thrown enough at you for one day," Blinky chuckled, Jim, Toby and you exchanging soft smiles. This was the first ever moment with the feeling of such tender friendship you'd felt with so many creatures. Not to mention, humans. "But a gnome in a dollhouse?" Blinky had to burst out in an amusing mix of disbelief and anger.
