Donnie was in his lab as usual humming along to one of his favorite songs when Casey walked in, a huge smile appeared on Donatello's face as he jumped up and ran into his boyfriend's arms wrapping his legs around him

"Happy to see you too Donnie" The teen laughed gently, "I thought you weren't coming today" Donatello answered hopping down wrapping his arms around Casey's neck; "I was I just had practice after school" The curly hair, replied with a smile "Where's April?" He asked walking back to his desk, "She's on her way" Casey spoke with a soft smile watching his partner walking around the lab grabbing boxes, putting them away, or putting them up so basically he was cleaning

"Oh good hey Case can you hand me those boxes of empty canisters?"

Donnie asked Casey who nodded and handed him the box "What're these for?" He asked sitting in Donatello's chair, "Nothing special just when I'm working on retro mutagen" He answered,

It was silent for a second before the lab doors opened "Sorry I'm late you two dad wasn't so convincing" She said sitting her bookbag down on the floor

Donnie looked up "April your hair looks different" He said smiling "Thanks I decided to do it differently today" She replied in which her hair was in two pigtails "So what's up? What're you two dorks up to?" She asked sitting on the table

"Well for one we aren't dorks and two I'm just doing some cleaning in here" Donnie answered, "Need any help D?" April asked "Nah I'm good hey wanna help me with an experiment?" He perked up gently is eyes sparkled

"Yeah I can" The ginger hair answered "Sweet" Donnie; nearly fell April got up and made sure her boyfriend was okay "I'm fine April" He said standing up "Hey Case mind holding this box for me?" He asked

Casey nodded, "Thanks" he thanked "Donnie I'm bored" Casey whined sitting in Donatello's chair frowning "Wanna help clean?" Donnie looked back, "Nah I'll let you do this Your a clean freak" He teased, "I am not"

Donnie frowned "You are Donnie just admit it"April teased "Am not end of story" The mutant spoke, with a pout "I'm gonna go play Marian Kart with Mikey" He walked off; as April shook her head

"I'm gonna go train with Leo you'll be fine right? I don't wanna be in the way of your cleaning"

The girl kissed Donnie on the cheek "Nah it's fine April I'll be alright you go train with Leo" He blushed and smiled April nodded "Love you" She called back as Donnie chuckled softly under his breath

"I love you too April" He whispered softly
