"hana?"
hana turned towards the door when hearing hye-jin's voice.
"yeah?" hana replied. she was getting ready to go out to send the children to school.
"i think your ex is outside the gate right now," hye-jin said.
hana raised her eyebrows and shook her head, "that's crazy."
"how did he know where you lived?" johnny asked, wearing his watch.
"i don't know. i never told anyone related to him about this place," hana said with an annoyed expression.
"let him be out there," hana told hye-jin.
"okay," she nodded before leaving.
hana opened the sliding door towards the balcony and heard a man's voice calling for hana to get out of the house. hana looked at him who was banging on the gate.
"is he crazy or what?" johnny asked while putting his hands on hana's tense shoulder.
"he is," hana said before entering the bedroom again.
ever since the first time manager kim told hana that cho-reum's biological father has come to search for hana and cho-reum, hana has become really cautious.
especially when going outside. she doesn't want cho-reum to ever meet her father. hana's ex left her the moment he found out that hana was pregnant. all through her life and all through cho-reum's life, hana's ex wasn't around.
why would he want to be a part of hana's family and cho-reum's life when before this, he was never for them. he was never there for the family and now he wants to get his 'rights' back.
after done getting ready, hana went downstairs with johnny and the children were done eating.
"if you're done eating, pack your bags, we leave quickly," hana told the kids.
"mommy," cho-reum called.
"yeah?" hana replied while opening the refrigerator.
"we heard loud voice from outside the gate. who is that?" cho-reum asked.
hana stopped her actions and turned to look at cho-reum, "he's a bad guy. not in his right mind. leave him be."
"oh, okay," cho-reum replied before continue eating.
hana sighed softly before continue to what she was doing before.
about ten minutes later, all of them were getting ready to leave the house. they get into the car, the gate opens and johnny drives out of the garage but he had to abruptly stop the car when hana's ex jumped in front of the car to stop them.
