It was 19th March 1927. A very exciting day for me. After months of travelling to research more about the magical creatures of the wizarding world, Newt and I were finally going to release the book that we wrote together.

It had been three months since the disaster in New York and I was happy to finally relax at home.

My parents had come to greet me at the port and they listened carefully to all the journeys I had.

They were very thankful that I was safe when I told them about what happened in New York.

Although, they were confused why they hadn't heard about it in muggle newspapers (I had to explain that they obliviated all the muggles).

While being at home, I got back into the habit of doing my favourite hobbies.

I continued to paint all my animals, I was reading all of the new books I had missed out on and I was playing Quidditch in my garden.

Now, our book was being launched at Flourish and Blotts.

A month ago, an invitation was put by the window of the book shop for our launch party and ever since then, I would get owls congratulating me for writing my first book.

I had dressed up for the occasion and apparated to Diagon Alley, I walked up to Flourish and Blotts 30 minutes before the book was being launched.

"Anna!" Newt smiled and hugged me.
"Hi, Newt," I smiled back.

I noticed that there were some other familiar faces.
"I brought some of our friends to celebrate with us," he said.

"That's wonderful," I said and noticed Leta Lestrange, "Leta, I haven't seen you in a while."
"Hi, Anna, are you doing well?" she asked.

"Well, I've been settling in quite well being back at home," I said.

"I don't think you've met Bunty yet, she's my assistant," Newt said.
"Hello, nice to meet you," she smiled.
"Nice to meet you too," I smiled back.

"And this is my brother, Theseus," Newt introduced.

I had heard Newt mention his brother a few times but I knew that they didn't have the best relationship.

"Nice to meet you," I extended my hand.

"You too," he shook my hand, "Leta and I are actually getting married soon and since you are one of Leta's old friends, we thought you might want to come."

"Oh, thank you so much for the invitation, I'm sure I'll be able to come," I smiled.

I noticed that Newt's body language had shifted, he looked slightly uncomfortable. It was probably because of Theseus and Leta's engagement.

The shop owner came over to us, "It's nearly seven o'clock, so if you two want to sit down and we can start the book launch soon."

We sat down ready to sign some books.

When the book launch started, everyone was scrambling over to us so we could sign their books, it was very hectic.

When we finished, my hand started hurting.

"Just before you finish, can we take a picture with all of you?" the press asked.

We stood up and they struck a picture of Newt and I holding the book with our friends by our side.
