Wishes can be funny things. Some wish to be strong, some wish for riches, and others wish for love. Sometimes those wishes come true, but beware, for if your wish comes true there is always a price to pay. There is always a dark side.
"So why do we have a serial killer in the basement?" Cali asked, "Oh I forgot about him. You can kill him." I said as I polished my knife, "Ok, but why is he here?" she asked, "He tried to kill (y/n), so I stepped in." I said, "You know he doesn't remember, so why go this far?" she asked, "Why do anything? It's because I can. I can protect him, so I will. I can complete my mission, so I will." I said.

"Ok, you ready to go to school?" Mom said, "Not at all." I said, "Oh come on, you'll be fine." she said as she pushed me out of the apartment and took me to school.
"Alright class today during duel period, we'll be using our personal decks. If you don't have one yet, that's alright, we have a selection of cards for you to borrow." the teacher said, I went over to the loaner cards and built a simple deck. "This is pathetic." I said sadly, "Yeah just like you." Logan said as I turned to face him.

"Whatever edgelord." I said as he slapped my deck to the ground, "Why are you borrowing cards anyway? I know you have a deck." he said, "Maybe I wanted a challenge." I said, "I think you're just scared that you'll embarrass yourself again." he mocked, "Fine then I'll beat you with my deck, and when you lose you back off." I said, "Deal, but when I beat you, you'll do all my homework for the rest of the semester." he said, "Deal." I said as I put my deck into my duel disk.

We went to the fields and drew our hands. "I'LL START!" he shouted, "I'll play Vampire Hunter! Now I'll play Double Summon and tribute my Vampire Hunter to summon Vampire Scarlet Scourge! And when he's summoned I can bring back one vampire from the grave!" he laughed as his monsters appeared on the field, "I'll end there, but on my next turn, I'm gonna end you." he mocked, "I draw. I'll play Allure of Darkness." I said as I drew two cards and banished Despian Tragedy, "My Tragedy's effect activates and allows me to add Aluber the Jester of Despia to my hand!" I said as I added my monster to my hand, "I'll summon him and add Branded Fusion to my hand thanks to his effect. Next, I'll play Super Polymerisation! I'll fuse my Aluber and your Vampire Scarlet Scourge to form this! Masquerade the Blazing Dragon!" I said as I summoned my monster.

"Next, I'll play Double Summon and bring out Blazing Cartesia, the Virtuous!" I said as my monsters took to the field. "I'll attack your hunter with my dragon and then attack you directly with Cartesia!" I said before ending my turn by playing one card face down, "I draw! I play this Contract with the Abyss! I Ritual summon Archfiend's Awakening! Now I'll destroy that dragon of yours!" He laughed, "I play Mirror Force." I said, "W-What?!" he said, "I-I'll end then!" he said, "I draw, I'll activate the effect of my Bystial Saronir by banishing your Archfiend's Awakening! I'm tired of this, you're boring me." I said, "I tune my level 4 Cartesia and level 6 Saronir to synchro summon this! Come forth Bystial Dis Pater!" I shouted as I summoned my beast.

"Now I'll attack with Masquerade, and now Dis Pater, end this! Eldrich Ascension." I said as my monster fired a deep purple beam at Logan knocking him to the ground and draining his life points.
