5 years, 9 months, and 14 days. That's how long Berk hasn't heard from Aybike Eren. After he left Ataman college and the county, Aybike tried to call and send him thousands of messages. The first thing he did after landing in Istanbul was to drive to the Eren house. He was hoping to see a glimpse of the curly head girl and see her dimpled smile. He missed placing kisses on her dimples. In the past years, he lived in different places around the world but none of them brought him the peace he was searching for. The only place he felt like he belonged and was at home was in the arms of the young girl.
In the place where once stood the Eren house, there was nothing. It was like the house never existed in the first place. Worry took over Berk's body. He was scared that something happened to his Aybike. Maybe a part of him sensed that something will happen to Aybike soon.
Berk asked around what happened to the Eren family, and where did they go? They all left after the baby was born, a small child told him as Berk patted his blonde hair. Aybike sold the house and the new owners demolished it.
As Berk was making his morning coffee, he called back the number that called him at 2 AM last night. The call went straight to voicemail and the voice Berk heard on the other end was none other than Aybike Eren.

He stood there, in the middle of his kitchen for a few seconds in shock, not knowing what to do. He dialed the number again just to make sure he heard correctly. It was Aybike's voice. He would recognize her voice anywhere. His Aybike called him last night? She called him after all this time. Did she hear he was looking for her in her old neighborhood? Was she mad it him? How did she get his number?
He couldn't help but smile, she was thinking of him as well.His Aybike hasn't forgotten him. He knew that the only person who had his new number was Sarp. They came across each other earlier this summer in Rome, Berk was there for work, while the blue-eyed young man was there for fun. Berk cut ties with all his old friends after he left the country and moved to England. Seeing Sarp after so long they decided to catch up on things. Doruk moved to Switzerland to be closer to Melisa. And Susen, she's trying to turn a new page in her life away from everyone. Sarp told him about everyone except Aybike.
Berk couldn't find the courage to ask about the young girl. What if Sarp said that Aybike is in a happy relationship and plans to marry this person? Don't get him wrong, he wanted her to be happy. Aybike Eren deserved all the happiness this world had to offer. But Berk didn't want to know if Aybike had someone in her life after he left.
