"What are you doing here?", her cheek was pressed against Jimin's chest through a very long hug.
"I was told you've been struggling a bit, and I am in charge so I'm here to be with you", he smiled. "The kids are gone for some promotions overseas, so I thought I would come visit now that you're basically alone".
"Yeah", she sat at the sofa and faces away from her cousin. "I haven't been feeling very well and we have a tight schedule so they're taking over for a while".
"Why, though?", he sat next to her.
Ara shrugged. She definitely didn't want to talk about it. Just thinking about the reason she'd been feeling blue lately made her eyes watery and her stomach churn. It was such a deep emotion she sometimes felt sick just navigating through it, so she decided not to dive into it.
"I dunno", her voice felt so tiny, so very like a whisper... and she didn't like it. She didn't like feeling small and scared, but lately it was all she felt.
Sad, scared, furious... it all swirled inside and she felt sometimes her heart would not handle it for much longer. She felt like she was hanging from a rope and that it was very slowly, but steadily, turning into a thread, thinning until it would eventually stop supporting her.
