You groaned to yourself once again when you realize your favorite pen wasn't in your backpack once again.

This was the 7th time this day when you kept forgetting things.

"Y/N, don't tell me you lost it again." Your friend, Natalie replied while leaning on her locker that was next to yours.

"Drew's going to kill me..." you mumbled to yourself, Shoving your backpack in your locker and locking it afterwards.

You heard familiar footsteps and turned around to see your boyfriend, Drew and Jake make their ways to you and Natalia.

Uh oh...

"Hey sweetheart." He said in his usual husky tone voice.

"Hey...uhm.." You exchanged looks with Natalia, signaling her to lead the others away. She sighed before looping her arm around Jake's arm, his face lights up as they both walked away.

"I know that face."

"W-What face?" You nervously smiled.

"You lost something again, didn't you."

It wasn't a question, guaranteed as he furrowed his brows. You decided to give up and sighed.

"Yes...and it had to be my damn favorite pen.." you heard Drew Chuckle.

"Knew it but I've got something for you that'd cheer you up." He replied.

You were confused as you turned your head 15 degrees before he suddenly pulled out a small gift box from his pocket, It was properly sealed and had a red ribbon on top.

"Go on, open it." He stated while having his smile on. You looked at him with your doe eyes and unwrapped the ribbon and opening it.

To your surprise, it was a small little journal. It had a bunch of to do lists papers inside as it had the scent of cherry perfume.

"What's this for?"

"A checkbook. So you don't have to keep forgetting your things at home again. For example, list down all the things you don't want to forget and before you leave, You check them off to see if they're all in your bag."

He explained while leaning on the locker with his elbow, you grinned at him and hugged the journal to your chest.

"Thanks, Drew." You Kissed his cheek as he felt a blush crept onto his cheeks.

"Anytime, sweets."
