Chapter 35 - Epilogue

I'm back after a nice week's vacation ;)
I hope you're not too angry with me. Unfortunately, this story ends with this chapter, but don't worry I'm already working on a new project!

Severus sighed heavily and leaned into Lucius.
With the other hand he held his belly, in which their unborn child was growing. Today had been exhausting.
Not only was the pregnancy bothering him, but also that a mediwitch had been doing her monthly check-ups.

Lucius had gotten a new job at the Ministry where he wasn't as stressed.
As head of the criminal justice departmemt, he was able to work from home and be there for his little Neko.

When Severus got the good news for him, Lucius just walked into the room. And so they sat here for an hour, waiting for Harry to come home.
5 months ago Dumbledore had been defeated and there was peace.

Tom and Regulus were rehabilitated by the Ministry and the population kept quiet.
Draco had hooked up with Blaise, and Theo and Pansy had found together as well.

Now that the Neko could no longer pursue his job as a teacher due to the pregnancy, Harry stepped in for him. The now 18 year old loved being able to teach the students and with Severus' help he wasn't such a sucker at Potions anymore.
He had graduated and today was the day.
The day he wanted to give his two darlings one of the greatest gift.

A soft knock made Severus look up and Lucius kissed his pale forehead. "Everything will be fine, kitten. You'll see, Harry is sure to be happy! And so am I."
The aristocrat smiled and called out, "You can come in honey! It's open."

As soon as he finished speaking, the door opened and Harry walked into the apartment, smiling. His amusement faded when he noticed Severus' tension. Concerned, he crouched down in front of him and carefully put a hand on his stomach. "Baby, are you alright? Did something happen, are you okay? Does our little one have something?"

Desperately, he looked briefly at Lucius, who only smiled reassuringly.
"N-no, it... it's all good. I'm fine, we're fine. But it has to do with our child." Severus took a deep breath and leaned into Lucius trustingly. "It's just, it- it's not alone anymore. I'm expecting twins."

Panicked, he narrowed his eyes and hoped. But not happened. He blinked slowly and looked down at Harry's tear-streaked face.
"Honey" the young teacher broke off. "That- That's wonderful! You couldn't have given us better news. I love you."

He whispered at the end and pulled the pregnant man into his arms. Lucius smiled and whispered in the black-haired man's ear;
"I told you so."
Severus just grunted vaguely, reveling in the bliss of the moment. Gently they parted and Harry fell to his knees, smiling happily and clearing his throat while Severus went back to his blond sweetheart. The younger took a ring box from his cape and began to speak.

"Lucius, Severus. You two are the love of my life and I can't imagine life without you.
When we became a couple everything happened very quickly and although we had to go through a lot, I think it brought us closer together.
I love you and that's why I want to ask you, do you want to marry me and make me the happiest man in the world?!"

Both wizards stared at him before pouncing on him and showing him their answer with kisses.
"I think that's a yes?"
Harry grinned and his loved one nodded quickly.
"Yes, definitely."

With these words, they put on the rings and snuggled up on the couch. They whispered declarations of love over and over until they fell asleep from exhaustion. When Sebastian came into the apartment the next day, three faces beamed at him and he knew they had finally made it.
