(Question: Do you guys want me to draw Julie or any other characters as well?)

"Are you sure you need to go? Couldn't you stay just a bit longer? What if-!" "Mama! Stop! We'll be fine." Cody cuts Maori off and gently sets his hand on her shoulder. "We're not walking or using a portal, we got a carriage and I'm going with them like you asked. Calm yourself." She turns to him, tears in her eyes. "I-I know.. I'm just worried about my hija y nieta!" (Daughter and granddaughter). You feel tears in your eyes hearing her say this. You hug her tightly, well, as tightly as you can past your slightly bigger belly. Corlis had politely requested that you stay so she and Maori could make sure all was well for a few (5) months. She holds you, afraid to let go. "What if you guys just stay until she's here? It's only a little bit longer!" You both hear Muerte start chuckling as he's putting your things in the carriage. "Maori, please don't make us have this fight again." She pouts as she lets go of you, holding your hands. "I'm so sorry, I just get so nervous." You squeeze her hands lightly, getting her attention. "It's okay, mama. We understand, honest. We really appreciate you wanting to keep us here and care for us. But we'd like to enjoy some of this time together too, Mama." She wiped her tears away, sighing. "I know, hija. I really am sorry for being so overbearing." After having the things settled, Muerte walks over to her and puts his paw on her shoulder. "It's alright, Maori. You needn't apologize. We hate to leave you guys, but we'll be back soon enough with another pequeño to love." He says to her with a warm smile, hoping to help calm her nerves. She smiled at him, hugging him tightly. He put his arms up for a moment, startled, before awkwardly hugging her back. Cody and Corlis can hardly contain their laughter, receiving rather nasty looks from Muerte. You can't help but smile at this, loving your silly little family. Maori steps away from the two of you, tearing up once more. Corlis walks over to you and hands you a small box. "Julie made this before she left. She asked that you open this when you get home and said she's sorry she couldn't be here to say goodbye." You smile to yourself, loving she cared enough to send you on your way with a gift. She'd been staying with Maori and Corlis for awhile before her mother's (Not the one related to Hana) sister, Luisa, was able to make it to Los Rotos to pick her up. Corlis trusted her to take Julie, as she was familiar with that side of Julie's family seeing as they were actually part of her own family as well. Cousins for that matter. Luisa had taken Julie back to where she and Corlis grew up. You all missed her dearly, but she was happy and with a bunch of cousins and family. Muerte and Cody had gone back and tried to find her moms, but to no avail.

Looking back up at Corlis, you put the box under one arm and hug her with the other. She hugs you, patting your back. "We'll miss you, hija. Be safe and take it easy. We put more medicines and books in your travel bag for you as well, love." She gently kisses your forehead, her lip ring surprisingly cold to the touch. You smile at her, almost wanting to just stay. Muerte, seemingly having read your mind, gently reaches out and grabs your shoulder. "Mi amor, we have to go soon. Go see Cody real quick while I go grab the last of your things." He kisses your cheek quickly then walks back into the house. You roll your eyes and walk over to Cody who was petting the horses for the carriage. He looks away from the horses and at you, meeting your gaze. "Hola hermana." (Hello sister) He said with a kind smile. "Are you ready for your trip? Papa is getting rather tired of staying here." He chuckles slightly as he says this, petting the horse's mane. You smile and pet the horse as well, watching it turn its head to look at you and Cody. "Yeah, I can tell. Haven't seen him quite this frustrated before." Cody laughs, beginning to walk away from the horse with you following close behind. "You've probably never heard about his issues with the stupid gato he used to deal with. Wonder how he figured that out." You look at him, confused. "Gato?" He looks back, gobsmacked. "He's really never told you about that?" You nod slowly, waiting for him to hopefully fill you in. He then spins on his heel, walking towards the house and yelling for his dad. You are left standing there in complete and utter confusion.
