Tahimik lamang akong nakikinig sa discussion ng aming teacher, ang katabi ko naman ay busy sa pag d-doodle. Sana naman hindi halata ang awkwardness aura naming dalawa. Gulat kasi itong naka tingin sa'kin habang papalapit sa kinauupuan niya.

Lihim naman akong napa ngiti. I may have to thank miss Jessie for this because I want to know Haley personally. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero gusto ko talaga siyang makilala matapos ko siyang maka sabay sa bus no'n.
The discussion is about to mathematician Leonard Euler and his labeled calculus application, one of the topic inside of exponents and its basic definitions plus the functions and graphs.
Mabilis lang natapos ang discussion dahil introduction pa lamang 'yon at siguro dahil first day of school, kesa naman isabak agad ang utak naming ngayon palang gagana. I tried to peek at her notebook earlier kaso tagong tago talaga ang ginagawa niya.
Every time I tried to make a conversation to her my tongue won't cooperate suddenly kaya ang ending, just dead silence and white noise because of discussion. Mabilis na nag ayos ako ng aking gamit at 'saka tamad na tinahak ang pintuan papalabas ng room ni miss Jessie.
Hindi pa ata nalabas si Haley pero bahala na baka sa susunod ay maka usap ko na siya ng hindi umuurong ang aking dila.
"Hey new girl!" Tumigil ako sa pag lalakad para lingunin ang tumawag sa'kin. Bumungad ang hindi kaliitan na babae sa harapan ko, she's cute though with her chubby cheeks.
"Chelsey by the way." Inilahad naman nito ang kaniyang kamay, asking for a handshake. Tinignan ko muna ito saglit bago tanggapin kasama ang pag ngiti ko sakaniya. Bahagya naman akong natawa dahil sa pamumula ng kaniyang pisngi.
"Remi."
"Ano next subject mo, Remi?" Binitawan ko na ang kaniyang kamay matapos ay sabay kaming nag lakad.
"World history, ikaw?" I think I'm doing better at my first day. "Chemistry and man, you are too cool to hang out with me 'cause duh world history is the least thing you wanted to take before you die." She sarcastically said at the last statement, I can't help but to laugh at her sassiness.
"I'm not that cool though." I honestly answered her. As time goes by the students are filling the hallway, some of them are making out while leaning at the locker. I cringed at the sight.
"Yeah one of the sight na gusto mong iwasan but guess what this is the real school, full of raging horny teenagers, bitchy students and jocks also the bathroom gossips." She whispers at me bago ayusin ang bitbit niyang libro, I'm starting to like Chelsey and her company plus her height makes it better. Para siyang bata na nag rereklamo 'kala mo inagawan ng candy.
"I had no idea that they really exists." I mean half of my life I spent studying inside of my mother's mansion so not my fault if I'm missing something important.
"You are missing a life." Iiling iling lang ito sa'kin bago tumigil sa harapan ng isang pintuan, maybe her class is here while mine is not far away from here. "See you at break time, Remi!" Paalam nito bago pumasok sa kwarto while I just waved at her with a smile in my face.
Nag patuloy naman ako ako mag lakad, ilang beses ko na ring nahuhuli ang ibang estyudante dito na naka tingin sa'kin. Not gonna lie, I got my father's intimidating aura but none of his features and soft attitude from my mother it's too quite opposite, right? My face is screaming back off while my attitude is full of rainbows.
My entire system is screaming in cliché language.
Tahimik na pumasok ako sa kwartong kakaunti pa lamang ang mga estyudante, naupo ako sa isang bakanteng upuan na malapit sa bintana at 'saka ibinaba ang aking bag sa gilid. The silence is killing me in a good way, they are busy reading something in the book while some of them is gossiping silently.
I noticed that every students here are already familiar with each other's except to me, a new fresh face from outside. Bilang lang din sa daliri ang mga kasama ko dito, nag tama ang paningin ko sa isang lalaki na mukhang inaantok pero todo ang tingin sa'kin kundi lang ito sinaway ng katabi niya ay hindi niya ito mag iiwas nang tingin.
"Stop staring at her, Zhen." Rinig ko sa malayo, hindi ko alam kung bulong ba dapat iyon o sadyang malakas lang talaga ang pagkaka sabi ng babae.
Pumasok naman ang hindi katandaan na lalaki na merong mga bitbit na libro at lesson plan. Hindi pa okupado ang ibang upuan pero nag simula na itong mag introduce at discussed ng mga pwede naming matutunan sa subject na ito.
Tama nga si Chelsey, this is the least thing na gugustuhin kong kuhanin kapag okupado na ang lahat ng subject. Why? Because we are only ten students here!
Still, it doesn't matter to me because I fancy history and wars that causes a thousand of lives just because of one idiot country to one another. No offense though to our ancestor especially to Heneral Luna and Jose Rizal, well Rizal uses his pen as his weapon during those times aside from the fact that he's a womanizer back in time.
I snapped out my thoughts. "That's it everyone and don't forget to bring a book with you tomorrow for our self-study session, okay? Have a great day." As a cue for him to leave ngunit pumihit ito ng lakad papunta sa'kin. Nalilito naman akong tinignan ito.
"Miss Evasco, I know that you are not paying attention earlier. I just want to say that I gave a book to your mother so make it sure na dala mo iyon bukas, hija." Tumango naman ako.
"Pasensya na po, sir. I'll pay attention better next time." Ngumiti lamang ito at nag paalam muli samin. Hindi pa ako nakaka labas ng kwarto ay inunahan naman ako ng lalaking naka titig sa'kin.
"Well... well, the new girl is in trouble already." Sabi ng Zhen bago ito lumabas ng kwarto.
"Stop acting like a child, Zhen." Binatukan naman nito si Zhen na napa hiyaw na lamang bago ako tinignan, she apologetically smiled at me before going out too. Napa ngiwi na lamang ako.
This Zhen boy is getting in my nerves already.
