I wake up that morning and check my phone. It's the day. The day we "kill" Scott to find the benefactor. I get dressed and put some make up on and brush my hair. I walk downstairs.
"You know this is stupid" Derek said.
"I know" I said.
"Be careful" Derek said.
"I will," I said. I walk out the door and stiles comes and gets me. Everyone us already I the jeep. Except Scott and Kira. We get to Scott's and we all walk in the house. Kira and her mom are there already. We are standing around Scott.
"Are we really doing this?" Lydia asked.
"We're doing it. Tonight." Scott said.
"But isn't it kind of dangerous?" Liam asked.
"It's incredibly dangerous. And borderline idiotic." Stiles said
"Have you guys done something like this before? Liam asked.
"Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?" Stiles asked.
"We did both already" I said.
"I think it's a yes to both." Kira said.
"You don't have to be part of it if you don't want to." Scott said.
"I'm not scared." Liam said.
"Then you're borderline idiotic. If we do this, we don't know what's coming for us. You know that, right?" Stiles said.
"How do we even know something's definitely coming?" Kira asked.
"Because the tape from Garrett's bag said visual confirmation required." Scott said.
"Simon said the same thing. He couldn't get paid by The Benefactor until he had proof that you guys were dead." Stiles said
"So the idea is, what if you kill someone on the dead pool, but you can't send the proof?" Scott said.
"You don't get paid." Kira said
"But how does that get us any closer to The Benefactor?" Liam asked.
"He still needs to know if the target is really dead." Scott said.
"Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles said.
"So, if he wants visual confirmation..." Liam said.
"He's going to have to come get it himself." Scott said.
"I still think this is the dumbest thing you guys have ever did" I said.
"Yea it's up there on the list" stiles said.
"Ready" kiras mom asked.
"Ready" kira said.
"Are you guys totally sure about this?" Liam asked.
"I think Liam's kind of nervous. Maybe you should tell him it's going to be all right." Kira said.
"It's going to be all right." Scott said
"So, you've done this before, right?" Liam asked.
"I've seen it done." Ms Yukimura said.
"Is that just as good?" Liam asked.
"No." Ms Yukimura said.
"Mom, you're not inspiring confidence." Kira said.
"Good. This is a terrible idea." Ms Yukimura said.
"Do you want us to do it without you?" Kira said.
"Put your hand over his heart." Ms Yukimura said.
"Hold on. What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?" Scott asked.
