The next morning I wake up and see Liam still fast asleep. I try to get up without waking him but he woke up. He grabs my arm and pulls me back to him. He gives me a kiss.
"Hi" I say.
"Hi" Liam said.
"Last night was interesting" I said.
"But fun" Liam said.
"Yes" I said.
I grab some pants and a hoodie. I hear Scott talking to Derek about money.
"I own the building, And I have my own bank accounts. All the money from the vault was Peter's. I think we'd actually be better off if the rest never came back." Derek said.
"How is she?" Scott asked.
"Liam was here last night, he never left" Derek said.
"I guess she's better" Scott said.
"I don't, everyone handles it differently, I guess she handles it with Liam" Derek said.
"How'd you handle it?" Scott asked Derek.
"I became really angry all the time I never talked to anyone for awhile" Derek said.
"Sounds like you" i said walking down the stairs.
The boys both turn and look at me.
"Oh hi rose. How are you? And liam?" Scott asked.
"Really" I said looking at Derek.
"Woops" Derek said.
"I smelled him on you too" Scott said.
"Yea yea" I said. "I'm better, still processing." I said.
"You coming to school?" Scott asked.
"Yea I'll be there" I said.
"What about you liam?!" Scott yelled.
"I'll be there!" Liam yelled back.
"Great!" Scott yelled back.
"So did you see yet?" Scott asked.
I glow my bright red eyes.
"I did last night" I said.
"With liams help" Scott said.
I hit him.
He laughs.
Derek walks away. And I know Scott could use the money. I grab the bag.
"Take as much as you need" I said to Scott.
"No I can't it's not mine" Scott said.
"He's my dad, take some" I said.
"Rose what are you doing?" Derek asked.
"Helping" I said. "Take some now" I said.
"Rose I can't" Scott said.
"Scott, just take some" Derek said.
He takes a few thousand. He gives me a hug.
"Red is definitely your color" Scott said.
I smiled, he smiled back and he left.
I turn and look at Derek.
"Really" Derek said.
"He needs" I said.
"I understand that but you don't hand out money" Derek said.
"For all the things he's done for you and me, you should be appreciated" i said.
