Yukio: eeh?? No 'i miss you' or something?

Izuku: stop. Why didn't you tell me about me having a roommate and it's todoroki at that!

Yukio: cuz you're not going to agree if I tell you, you have to live with todoroki! I have no choice, and it was a last minute thing! The staff found out that he was renting out a room in his apartment, so obviously we had to take the chance! The closer you are the more you know about him

Izuku: I'm so done with you. You know what, this will be my last work, I'm quiting after this.

Yukio: WHAT! NOO!! You can't quit! You're one of our best journalist-

Izuku: is that what I mean to you, just a 'journalist'?

Yukio: noo, you know that's not what I meant babe-

He knew that he was going to receive a lot of money if he succeed into bringing todoroki back to Tokyo for an interview, and he's already tired with yukio's behavior. Quiting and taking a break after all of this seems like the best option

"Ah todoroki kun, let's go to the grocery shop. Sorry for making you wait!!"

"It's fine"

"You fucked up real bad huh" the secretary said and gave yukio the evil grin

"Don't add salt to the wound. I'm already hurt, I didn't mean to hurt him, he's my everything, and obviously I can't tell him that or else it'll ruin whatever relationship we currently have. I'm fine with how we are right now"

"Aaand, how you are with him right now isn't so good now is it?"

Yukio just rolled his eyes, he knew that izuku was being serious about quiting and it hurts yukio because it seems like izuku doesn't want to have anything to do with him anymore. After what he did, it's only fair for izuku to be mad, yukio knew he was selfish, and he's very selfish especially with izuku, because izuku was his first love. He liked him since their highschool days, since the first day izuku transferred to their school, it was love at first sight,

and yukio remember every moment they spent together and what leads them to be, friends with benefits, until now.

But since he fucked up real bad this time, he know he have to somehow make this right again.

Izuku went inside todoroki's car to go to the grocery shop that is only a 15 minutes walk from the apartment, it was a quiet ride and he knew that it's best to just let it stay like that, still he needs to say something, to slowly break the walls between them

"Sooo, todoroki kun live alone? I mean before I rented the room"

"Yes"

Just that? A simple 'yes'

What izuku really wants to know is why would a rich person like him rent out a room at his apartment. Rent due? Can't be, he came from a family of millionaires, izuku have a lot of questions and seeing how todoroki answers them it's quite hard to bring another topic to talk about

"What are you doing here? To Kanazawa"

Izuku smiled in response, but at the same time, he was thinking of hundreds of different answers and all this happened in less than 3 seconds

"Taking a break, I just uh- found my partner cheating! So uh- yea I'm currently taking a break from everything"

Seriously? That's the best one he could do?

"Oh, I'm very sorry about that.....You know, I was actually engaged"

Izuku turned his head and stared at todoroki, with wide eye and mouth hanging open

"Pardon?"

"It was an arranged marriage type of situation, but as time goes, I've come to like her, but I found out she cheated. I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I thought you might understand"

"I- I do! I mean obvs haha. Sorry about that tho"

Maybe, maybe this is their bonding time is what izuku thought. He could take advantage of this situation because when else

"Since we're both heartbroken, you wanna grab a drink?"

"Sure, sounds nice" todoroki replied with a smile on his face, it was the first time izuku saw him smiling

They arrived at the grocery shop and went to buy the necessaries, once they finished they proceed to go on with their plan on drinking

"Soooo~ hiccup* as I was saying! I liked her! hiccup* but she cheated on me with- with my brother!"

'oh man, todoroki kun has a low tolerance to alcohol' izuku thought as he kinda regrets bringing him out to drink

"BUut midoriya you, I dont know- hiccup* when I first saw you, I thought- hiccup* that you're really cute" todoroki stood up his chair and walked towards izuku, and cupped his cheeks

"E-eh! Todoroki kun! You're drunk, I think we should go home"

Todoroki just stare at izuku, hands still on izuku's face, at this moment izuku doesn't know what to do, but he realized that people was looking at them weirdly so he hurriedly paid and dragged todoroki out of the restaurant, since they both drank, none of them could drive and it was already late. Not really a lot of taxis so izuku decide to just walk the drunkard back home

"hiccup* where are we going?"

"Home, you're drunk already"

Todoroki took his hand away from izuku's and shouted "NOO"

izuku panicked and put his hand on todoroki's mouth to shut him up "todoroki kun! Please cooperate with me, please!"

There wasn't really people around but it's still embarrassing. Todoroki then took the hand that is covering his mouth and kissed it

"Midoriya you, like guys?"

"Todoroki kun, stop this, let's just go home"

Although izuku was taken aback by the kiss, he decided to stay calm because todoroki is drunk and one of them needs to be sober to get home

Izuku dragged todoroki but instead he was stopped, turned, and kissed.

Next morning

Todoroki sat on his bed, confused but then all the drunk memories came back to him and hit him like a truck

"Oh shit"
