The quiet, seaside town of Los Angeles holds a secret.
Mitch Thomas has the perfect life working as a Actor in the city and drinking with his noble husband, Toby Thomas.
However, when he finds a weathered knife in his cellar, he begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Thomas family.
An accident leaves Mitch with some startling questions about his past, and he sets off to cold Berlin to find some answers.
At first the people of Berlin are lovable and generous. He is intrigued by the curiously clever Author, lixon melweed. However, after he introduces him to hard Secrets, Mitch slowly finds himself drawn into a web of gluttony, fraud and perhaps, even assassination.
Can Mitch resist the charms of lixon melweed and uncover the secret of the weathered knife before it's too late, or will his demise become yet another Berlin legend?
