Cayetana had shown me the whole restaurant and I tried to remember this crappy maze. It was agreed that I would do a shift every day after school and she still said that she would make it varied for me, since constantly working on the same things can get boring.
When she interpreted my look, since I didn't really understand why she was bringing this up, she expanded that her son usually almost croaked when he was always behind the counters.
"So, I'm assuming that Jake usually gives you a ride, and if he doesn't, there's a tramway every 10 minutes." I nodded in agreement and then turned to the door, which was pushed open by the Spaniard.
Was he timing it or why was he so punctual? It was a little after 7 and I think Heeseung was already at my door.
"See you tomorrow then, Estela." She put a hand on my left shoulder and smiled kindly at me. "See you tomorrow." Expensive restaurant or not. Cayetana and especially Jake didn't seem arrogant at all, nor too refined to show decency.
The black-haired man eyed me and slowly approached. He dodged a stressed waiter, who scowled at him, and I noticed Jake was trying to trip him up. I smirked and our eyes then met.
Relatively quickly, I remembered that this jerk had left me here alone. It wasn't that bad, but still I felt the urge to punch him in the face.
"Now was that so bad without me?" he chortled as we left the building together. "Horrible," I gave a playful whine and inherited an honest laugh from my partner.
"There she is knowing me for a scant 3 days and already she can't get along without me." My head shook as I realized what idiots we both were. "Exactly. I already can't live without you."
As we sat in the car, I glanced down at the shoe mat and drew my eyebrows together. Jake didn't seem to notice at first, but when he did, he looked at me in confusion. The light was red and I lifted my head.
"See that?" I pointed down to my shoes and tilted my head to show that I was visibly confused. "What?" Jake leaned over and looked for my problem, but when he got his head on my side, I gave him a slap on his neck.
There was a loud clap and my victim winced. I couldn't hold back my laughter and snorted loudly as Jake stood up and shook his head playing with his tongue on the inside of his cheek.
"That was for just leaving me alone like that." "I'll keep that in mind," he breathed out, turning away. "And maybe also because I've always wanted to do that."
The Spaniard rubbed the back of his neck and squinted fleetingly over at me. "Go ahead. I'll be available for your kinks, then."
A playful and kinky grin spread across his lips and I looked at him the same way. "I'll keep that in mind, too. I should have recorded it. At least then I'd have proof that you gave me permission." "What a shame."
The Audi stopped just a few feet from my front yard and Heeseung was crouched on the steps outside the front door. He was on his cell phone and didn't seem to notice us at all.
"Do you think if I honk the horn now, he'll throw his cell phone through the air?" The driver looked at me with a raised eyebrow, waiting for my answer. "He probably wouldn't even hear that."
I unbuckled my seatbelt and smoothed out my top as I went to open the door. "You got something there?" "Huh?" Confused and actually worried that something was stuck to my face, I turned back to number 81.
"There." He pointed to my chin and held out his hand. "Where?" I leaned toward him a bit, hoping he would take whatever was on me away. "Yeah there." His hand briefly touched my chin and I looked to the floor as his face had moved a little closer.
I waited for him to move it away, but suddenly I felt a jolt. My head jerked forward briefly and I just realized what this asshole had done.
Perplexed, I looked up into his face and was already pulling on the laces of my sneakers so I could smack him in the face with them. This moron had given me a neck-slapper too.
"See you tomorrow." He tried to hold back a laugh and then looked forward in agony as he nearly choked on his own air, apparently finding it funny as hell. "See you tomorrow," came from me as I looked at him with a murderous look, already planning how I was going to kill him.
I pulled the car door shut and then fixated on my best friend who was still crouched on his cell phone. "Hey," it then came softly from me as I heard the car pull away and stood in front of Heeseung.
His head lifted quickly and he looked at me in surprise. "Hey Stel. I was wondering where you were. Where's Abuela?" I pulled out my house key and rubbed the back of my neck in embarrassment. "Hospital."
"Really? Why?" His voice sounded indifferent and when I turned back to close the door, I caught sight of the grayhead on his cell phone again. A sweet smile graced his mouth as he had probably gotten a cute message from his girlfriend.
"Had a heart attack and now needs one of those things to help her with her newly developed arrhythmias." I slipped off my sneakers and Heeseung did the same. "Gross," he replied to me, continuing to type away on his phone.
When this started to get too stupid for me, I raised my voice. "So what were you doing here anyway?" It seemed like my biting undertone had kicked in, because he finally let his cell phone slide into his back pocket.
"Right. I wanted to apologize, first of all. You're right. I don't have the right to be in charge of your other friends, and second, I wanted to spend some time with you."
Oh did you? I wanted to, but something told me that would just leave you on your cell phone.
"You can help me water the flowers." Nodding in agreement, Heeseung smiled sweetly at me. I couldn't help it and softened. I looked back sheepishly, but then turned away so it wouldn't be so noticeable.
My best friend followed me into the garden to the cottage and together we gathered everything we needed. "Where were you before, anyway? Out with Melissa or Jay?"
I nodded and lied about being with Melissa, knowing he wouldn't ask her and if he did, my best friend knew me well enough. She would play along.
"You, with Aleyshia?" Heeseung shook his head. "No, not until later. I'm sleeping at her place tonight." Congratulations. Just make sure you get it up too...
I nodded and started watering the white flowers. I had no idea what they were, but they were definitely white.
"Say." Heeseung's voice became harsher and deeper. It sent a shiver down my spine. "Hmm?" "Why are you really hanging out with Sim?"
Inwardly, I shook my head and I couldn't avoid a loud sigh. "Fuckbuddies. We're fuckbuddies." I calmly dished this statement to my crush and waited for his reaction.
"I'm sorry, what? You're sleeping together?" The watering can, which was in the perplexed man's hand, crashed to the floor and I tried to suppress my laughter.
"Exactly. That's what fuckbuddies do with each other, right?" "Are you kidding me, Estela?" Roaring, he stood in front of me and tried to lecture me.
"Yeah, I'm kidding with you. Thank you for thinking I would do something like that."
A/N: I love heeseung but in this story i hate him
