Estela:

Pretty pissed off, I stared at my cell phone, because the Spaniard just wasn't picking up his damn phone. I was already standing in front of the hospital and it was really pitch dark outside. Again I dialed Jake's number, but again no one answered. Was he ignoring me?

I looked at the clock and realized that the next bus to The Sim would arrive in a few minutes. So I was about to leave when I heard a voice I knew. "Estela?"

A little too quickly, I turned to the voice and recognized Jay. Behind him limped Heeseung, who was holding his shoulder. "Is he in yet?" My mouth dropped open in confusion as I recognized abrasions on the Korean's chin.

"Wh-why are you guys here? Did you guys have an accident during training?" Heeseung looked at me in pain and rubbed his shoulder again. "Yes, we are, but our mistake knocked someone else to the ground."

Jay seemed pretty rattled and I put a hand on his left shoulder. "Calm down first. Are you guys all right? So aside from the bruises and stuff?" My eyes also searched Heeseung's, who waved it off and stood up.

"Are you guys sure? Go in and get checked out. I'll go with you." I tried to lure my buddies to the hospital, because I would kill myself if anything more happened to those two. Yes, Heeseung had hurt me, but it would be heartless not to worry about him.

When the two entered the hospital before me, a light came on. It was the guy earlier. Now I could identify the clothes as well. He was part of the team.

"Stel, we're going to be examined together. Will you come with us?" I nodded and followed the limping riders. The doctor sent us to a hospital room and told me that I could just sit on the white counter. This I did and then watched in silence as both boys took off their outfits, contorted in pain.

Heeseung's shoulder was already blue and Jay seemed quite fit. The door opened again and the doctor sighed, "I'm assuming the other one is your buddy." Heeseung lowered his eyes in shame and rubbed his face before looking at me apologetically.

"Is he okay? Is he going to be okay?" Real fear could be heard from Jay's voice, and I wanted to ask who it was about anyway. "He'll survive, but his injuries aren't without." The doctor shined a small flashlight into Jay's eyes to test the reaction of his pupils.

"He has a pulmonary contusion, which fortunately in his case doesn't require surgery. On top of that, he has several broken ribs, his left collarbone is broken and his right shoulder was dislocated. Then he has minor fractures that are not too bad. A finger or two, but luckily his organs, other than his lungs, have been spared and head-wise nothing too bad has happened. He suffered a mild concussion. He was really very lucky. Especially also because he wasn't wearing a helmet."

I pulled one of my knees to my chest and wrinkled my nose. "Please, how stupid can you be and ride without a helmet?" The doctor shook his head with a smile, and Heeseung coughed before aiming that apologetic look at me again.

"He wasn't driving. He and his bike were at a standstill. I made a mistake and yanked Jay off the bike. Then it chased me off mine and they both slammed into the stationary Jake."
