Chocolate batter swirled around the bowl as Yumeno tried her hardest to mix. Tojo and Chabashira watched closely, ready to help the girl. Yumeno had insisted on having chocolate but specifically demanded cake, so Tojo agreed to teach them how to bake.
As Yumeno became frustrated with the process, she mixed harder which only resulted in the bowl tipping. She gasped and grabbed it, but most of the contents had already spilled. "I'm sorry..." The mage whispered as tears dripped down her cheeks. It broke Chabashira's heart, so she tried to fix everything with a hug as Yumeno cried.
"It is quite alright, Yumeno." Tojo smiled as she grabbed a mop to begin cleaning the mess. "We still may be able to make the cake." She peeked inside the bowl. "Perhaps a few cupcakes shall do?"
Yumeno only cried into Chabashira's chest. The Aikido master rubbed circles of sympathy onto her back, understanding her girlfriend's wild emotional state. After all, Chabashira also suffered monthly. Unfortunately for the mage, chocolate tended to be her only solace, so spilling some filled her with uncontrollable sorrow.
"Can I make some cake too?!" A high-pitched, energetic voice piped up as someone raced into the kitchen. "I need it for my boyfriend! He loves cake!" Everyone watched as a small girl with olive-toned pigtails raced up to them. Chabashira stiffened due to the familiar sight.
"Yes, you may help, but I must clean this mess first," Tojo explained in a sweet tone. Tenko nodded and watched as the maid cleaned before looking up at Yumeno and Chabashira.
"Are we related?" Tenko asked, pointing at her future self. Instead of responding, Chabashira kept glaring at her. She wanted to scream and punch something. Whilst she knew the motive wouldn't care about her, Chabashira couldn't believe she'd be faced with this.
As Tenko went to help Tojo clean, Chabashira stormed out of the kitchen. There was no way she'd stick around to be tortured by her mistake.

Chabashira watched as Yumeno happily ate her chocolate cupcake. As long as her girlfriend was happy, so was she. However, as they watched a movie in the AV room, Chabashira found herself unable to focus. Yumeno noticed the strange silence from the chatterbox and poked her arm. "Is the motive bothering you?" Instead of answering verbally, Chabashira only nodded, causing Yumeno to ignore the film. "Do you want to talk about it? My mana is charged now."
After thinking about it for a few moments, Chabashira shook her head. "No." She wasn't ready, unable to face the mistake she made. "Chabashira is... ashamed..." The olive-haired girl whispered, looking down at her lap.
She braced for the judgement that never came. Yumeno shuffled closer to her, leaning against the girl and turning back to the movie. "I'll rewind the movie." Chabashira smiled at her girlfriend, glad that she cared so much about her. The Aikido master hated mushy talk about someone 'being there for her' or 'always available to talk' - it made her feel guilty.
Just as she was beginning to calm down, the door slid open and small footsteps thudded through the room. Harukawa walked toward them, watching as Tenko jumped on the empty armchair. "Seems like it's your turn," she muttered.
"Chabashira knows," she groaned.
"I know you're me in the future!" Tenko sang as if she knew an adult's deep secret. "You're the Ultimate Aikido Master! At least something good happened after being sent away!" Chabashira continued ignoring the child, although nodding when Harukawa explained that Momota told the child everything after being annoyed to high hell. "Oh, oh, are we watching a movie?!" Turning to the screen, Tenko continued talking. "Akira and I did this all the time!"
