Shining Moment [Completed]

Chapter 4

Right after the five of them entered the classroom, their classmates gave them a questioning look. Irish slowly approaches the gathering crowd, but a voice made her stop from taking another step

"Is this photo edited, Rish?" All of them turned to the source of the voice, and saw Kendrick holding a photo. Irish was taken aback when she realized the situation.

Despite the nervousness she's feeling, Irish remained composed. Alexa took the photo from Kendrick's hand and examined it for awhile before turning to Irish with a teasing smile

"Wow! I didn't know you're a fan of Simon, Rish" Alexa teased while showing the picture. Irish just laughed her nervousness and grabbed the photo from her friend's hand

"Yes, this is edited. I got bored, hence, the outcome of this photo" she answered casually. Irish looked around her, and waved the photo on the air "How did you guys obtain this picture?" She asked without showing any emotion. Irish barely can keep up her act, so she's moving around to cope the mix emotions she's feeling

"We found your wallet on the ground, so we checked inside if there's something we could find to know who's the owner. But we saw that picture, and this ring" Anna stated, and showed the ring to them. Irish's heart skipped a bit upon seeing the ring. The picture itself is a big trouble for her, and now the engagement ring.

"You're such an idiot Irish Dela Rios" she scolded herself in her mind.

"It's an engagement ring, Irish. Engagement ring that both you and Simon are wearing in the picture" Anna continued, making Irish swallow a large amount of saliva. She gathered all of her courage, and gave them a smile first before speaking up

"What are you guys up to? We are literally living in a world with advanced technology. Stop treating me like I'm some sort of a criminal" Irish pouted, and grabbed her things from the hands of her classmates, she then went to her chair to escape the interrogation

While putting her things inside her bag, she could feel herself trembling. Irish is aware that any day from now, her secret will be announced to the world. It's not actually a big deal if everyone will find out today or tomorrow, she's just not ready, and she won't be ready

She doesn't have any feelings for him. She shouldn't have.

After Irish arranged her things she heard someone calling her name from the outside of their room. A young man wearing a plain white t-shirt, and ripped jeans with bangs covering his eyes, waves at her. He then gestured his hands telling Irish to come over. Irish knitted her brows as she walked her way to the young man. Everyone in the room just watches Irish going to her friends from the other strand. They are all aware that the girl is more comfortable and close to the students in the Animation section. At first, most of them think of Irish as pick me girl since the students in Animation strand are all boys, but then they witness the wholesome relationship and bond Irish has with those boys. And now, Irish skills in animation and digital arts are on top level that no one would think she is a beginner

"I guess, Irish is indeed a right brain dominant" Christian commented while looking at Irish fondly

"Yeah… In other words, she doesn't belong here. That b*tch, why did she even choose the STEM strand? She should be in those low class sections" Rhian rolled her eyes in annoyance as she sassily flipped her hair. Jessiebel and the other girls who heard Rhian gave her a death glare, and was about to counterattack, but Jessa speak up first

"At least she's smart. Her interests may not match as ours, but her IQ can compete with ours. Unlike you who is so trying hard, dumbbell, and a cheater. Not to mention, you only got to enter in this section because of your daddy's money" Jessa gave her a sarcastic smirk as she walked out to their room to answer the call on her phone. The other students who heard Jessa openly laughed while the others are whispering
