Clarke and Lexa stayed in the water for a while longer. Clarke felt like she was babysitting Lexa since she was acting very childish. She was also very flirty. And the 'wet' jokes were still being made. To be honest, she didn't want this to end. This was the most fun she had in Polis and she had felt welcome at Polis. She didn't understand why she felt like this though.
Clarke got out of the water first. She squeezed out her hair and dried off as much as she could before putting her dress back on. Lexa was next to get out. She did the same, drying off and squeezing the water out of her hair before putting her clothes back on. As much as she wanted to stare at Lexa, she looked away, being respectful.
Clarke was petting the horse, waiting for Lexa to walk over to her. "Need help, princess?" Lexa asked, coming up behind her.
"Maybe." Clarke said, as Lexa held out a hand for her. Clarke got on the horse with Lexa's help. Lexa took the horse's reins from on the ground. "You are not walking all the way back to the castle."
"Well, my horse got spooked and is gone." Lexa told her.
"It's like a three mile walk."
"I know."
Clarke bit her lip, thinking. She felt bad that she scared off her horse and now she has to walk. There was no way in hell Lexa would let them switch positions so that Clarke was walking and Lexa was riding. She had an idea but it was such a bad idea.
"Get on." Clarke said to Lexa. Lexa looked up at her confused. "I'm not gonna make you walk."
"Are you sure?" Lexa asked. She was not sure but she nodded anyway. Lexa stopped walking and walked up next to her. She easily got on and got comfortable.
Oh this was definitely a mistake. She could feel Lexa's pelvis against her ass. This was a big mistake. Lexa's chest was against her back and she could feel her thighs against her own. This was the worst idea ever.
Lexa put her arms on either side of Clarke's hips and grabbed the reins. Now, her hands were resting on her thighs as she held the reins. "This okay?" Lexa said, softly near her ear. She didn't trust her voice so she just nodded and hummed. "You can relax into me a little, princess." Well it was hard to relax when she had a pretty girl pressed into her. "I don't have cooties."
She leaned back into Lexa a little. "Are you sure about that?" The horse started to walk. "When was the last time you cleaned yourself?"
Lexa squeezed her arms around her waist tighter so she was supported. "I'll have you know, I bathe atleast once a day and I have very good hygiene."
The horse started to pick up speed and their hips started to gently bump into each other. As the ride went on, Clarke was fully relaxed into Lexa and Lexa had her arms wrapped around her waist. They talked very quietly and softly to each other sometimes but other than that the ride was silent. The silence was very comfortable and she didn't have a need to fill in the silence with talking. She felt fully relaxed now.
Soon they made it out of the woods. "So do you regret hanging out with me?" Lexa asked.
"Suprisingly, it wasn't awful." Clarke said, looking down at her hands. Only then she realized her hands were resting on top of Lexa's hand. She had no idea when that happened and she panicked a little.
Lexa laughed softly. "So will you have a playdate with me again?"
"I will if you never call it that again." Clarke told her. Lexa cheered, happily. Lexa's arm, that was around her waist, slowly snaked away. Clarke missed the contact but not for long. Lexa's hand was placed on top of Clarke's hand and she interlocked their fingers. "I'll be looking forward to it." She flirted.
