She walked through the crowd, occasionally getting stopped by people. Of course she had to stop to talk to them. Everyone was just congratuting her. She had one old man ask her when she was going to have kids. She didn't know how to respond to that so she just laughed and thanked them before walking away.
"Aye, Griff!" She heard a female yell. She looked in that direction and saw Raven waving at her. After waving through the crowd, she made it to Raven. Luna was also there. "Your face might have been the best thing I've seen when Finn told you to speak." Raven laughed.
"Shut up." Clarke said, hitting her arm. "Where's Lexa?"
"Getting more food." Luna said. "She is jealous." Almost on que, Lexa came walking up to them with a turkey leg. Lexa took a bite out of it.
"I am not jealous of anyone." Lexa said after swallowing. Luna rolled her eyes. "That was a good speech, princess." Clarke kissed Lexa's cheek. Lexa got flustered and she took the chance to take a bite out of Lexa's turkey leg. "Excuse me, that is mine." Lexa took another bite.
Luna sighed. "Well I'm going to get a drink. Don't kill each other." With that Luna walked off towards a tavern.
They talked for a second before agreeing that they should go back to the table with their families.
Clarke and Lexa kept brushing hands and all Clarke wanted to do was to hold her hand. "I meant to ask, why weren't you guys on the stage with us?" Clarke asked as Lexa finished off her turkey leg. They both shrugged, not knowing.
Lexa threw the bone away. "We weren't invited." Raven said. "Probably Finn's wish so he could have alone time with you." Clarke rolled her eyes.
They made it to the table. As soon as Lexa saw Finn, she felt Lexa's hand go to her back. She found it adorable and hot that Lexa got all possessive when Finn was around. If she could, she'd probably have her hands all over Lexa as well. Finn was sitting in the middle of the table with an empty seat to his left. Everyone else just filled in the rest of the seats.
"I'm surprised you showed up." Finn mumbled.
"I'm not one to miss a party." Lexa said, smirking. A man with a tray of wine walked by. Lexa snatched a glass and took a sip.
Titus looked up from his conversation. "Alexandria, what is that?" Titus asked, fuming. The rest of the parents looked over. Abby looked pissed for some reason. "That better not be wine." Lexa quickly drank the rest of it, hiding the evidence.
"Some would call it grape juice." Lexa placed the glass on the table. "Others would call it wine." Titus took a deep breath and Becca put a hand on his shoulder. Abby was still looking at her and Lexa, feeling a little intimated, she took a step away from Lexa.
"Why don't you four go have fun." Becca offered. "Go get something to eat." Finn got up from his seat, pushing the chair in. Lexa mumbled something under her breath.
Abby spoke up before they could leave. "Clarke, can I talk to you?" Clarke knew it was going to be about her and Lexa. She nodded.
"Abby, talk to her later, let her have fun." Jake cut in. She let out a sigh of relief. Her mother didn't look too happy about that but nodded.
Before anyone could say anything else, they left. Finn grabbed her hand as they walked. "What do you want to eat?" Finn asked.
"I already ate." Lexa said, calmly.
"I wasn't talking to you." Finn snapped. Lexa put her hands up in defense. "I think we should eat at Million's." Before anyone could agree or disagree, Finn pulled her in the direction of the restaurant.
