I woke up to the feeling of someone messing with my hair. Slowly I opened my eyes seeing that it was Hatori. I'd fallen asleep with my hand and arms on the big white couch. The rest of my body was on the floor. Once I tried to move I winced at the how sore my body was from staying like that for so long. "What time is it" I said rubbing my eyes. "Around 8 in the morning. You've been asleep sense 10pm. Yesterdays events really tired you out." I heard a voice come from behind me.
"Oh good morning Kai" I said turning around. He gave me a slight nod setting down food on the large glass table. "I stole some breakfast from this morning, it was very easy."
"Who was all there?" I asked. "Only Momiji was there. I was actually very surprised, usually Hatsus there with him." Kai took a seat on the fluffy white couch that also used to be owned by Haru. He took a sip of his tea before speaking. "What are you going to do now?" Kai looked me in the eyes. "I think I'm going to go find Hatsu and ask him what happened with Akito." Kai narrowed his eyes at me. I turned my head away to Hatori. I couldn't read what he was thinking, I couldn't read what either were thinking.
"Are you sure?" Hatori asked me. "Yeah, I'll grab a couple things and then sneak out of the estate. I'm sure I'll be able to find him." I got up grabbing my bag. I think I know where he'll be. I heard Akito and one of the maids talking the other day. Of course Akito was doing more of the talking, well yelling. Akito put Rin in the cats house, the maid was telling Akito about how Rin won't eat anything. Akito kept telling the maid that she doesn't care and wants her to starve."
Hatori's face was blank. Like he wasn't surprised, more like monotone and emotionless. "I'm not surprised she was yelling at the poor maid," Hatori brought his hands to his chest tangling them together, "and I thought I heard something in the cats house when I walked by the other day, not surprising she's in there" Hatori finished.
My heart was broke. After all I've done for her, I made sure she was okay, I tried to help her the best I could. Kureno even let go of his own life for her. He could've had a change with Arisa. "Wow..." I let out a chuckle of disbelief. We both heard a sigh and looked over to the grand doorway. "You better get going now. We don't have much time" Kai was leaning against the doorway, arm crossed. I got up nodding my head in agreement. "I'll see you guys soon than. Take care of yourselves while I'm gone." "You be careful" I heard hatori say. I smiled at him and nodded my head before waking through the shinning purple portal. 'Good luck to me I guess.'
𑁍
I stepped through the portal. I felt a hard surface under my feet and the feeling of a warm breeze touch my cheek. I'd landed in the garden. I looked at the great big cherry blossom tree, taking in the scenery. "Wise me luck dad" I whispered to myself.

I had heard of a box one time. It was gifted to akito when she was younger, like a keep sake of our fathers soul apparently. I remember akito would hold onto that thing like it was glued to her. She never resented me for "killing" mom but she did for dad, she just didn't always like to admit it. I think the letter that was gifted to me about akito dying, was supposed to help me wake up in a way. Any other reason doesn't make sense to me, mother always seemed like she resented Akito now that I think about it. Mother was never very nice to akito. She always liked to dress me up. Now that I look back on it it's probably because father payed more attention to Akito than me or mother. I guess I was just my moms last resort. Even from beyond the grave it seems she still haunts akito.

I was snapped out of my train of thought once I saw someone. I ducked behind the wall."I'm sure they'll come back. There's nothing to worry about." I heard a voice say. I heard a slap followed by a sob. "I don't care about her! I care about my dagger!" "Akito" I whispered. My heart started to race at the thought of our last encounter. I heard both people walking away, I held at my spot for a couple seconds before moving in. 'Why's my doors open...'. I stepped into my room. Everything was all over the place. Things smashed, thrown. 'Where is it! Where is it' I started screaming in my head rummaging through my room. I sighed as I felt the feeling of the silk cloth on my skin.
"Thank god" I pushed my face into the fabric of dads kimono. It was the one he was wearing when he died. It still smelled of the pine smell that I'd remembered from when he was alive. Tears dropped onto the silk fabric. Rubbing my hands over the drops I sniffled before picking myself back up. The air in my lungs was shaking as i inhaled. "Let's get this over with, for once and for all, father."
