The windows, once covered in papers, now opened with a metallic mechanism. Felix shone as he basked in the light. His hair was neatly pulled back, his face freshly shaven.
"Dark wings rise." Pain did not follow his words. Instead, his body felt indestructible.
Clasping a butterfly in his hands, black bubbles easily ran through his palms. Snickering, he allowed his sensation of pleasure to ink through his body.
"Fly away, my little Akuma." He said confidently as the Akuma flew with a determined force.

"Adrien, are you going to Luka's show? I made sure to keep your schedule free." Nathalie stood before the tower of papers at Adrien's desk. Though she no longer held an assistant position, she still helped where she could.
"Nathalie, you know our accountant has been melting down over this. If I don't get these done, she might literally bite my head off." Adrien flipped a page without meeting her disapproving gaze.
"You know better than anyone that work should not always be someone's priority." Nathalie's words wounded Adrien. She was right, he didn't want to be like his father.
Adrien glanced at the clock, the show was starting in five minutes. "Do you think I'd even make it?"
Victoriously, Nathalie nodded as she set down his keys. He would be able to get there faster in his car than with the company's driver. Her triumph, however, was cut short by a familiar tone.
*Beep-Beep*
Of course an Akuma alert would go off right now! Adrien scowled as he stuffed his keys into his pocket. It's fine, the Akuma should be less than five minutes. I'll only be a couple of minutes late.
"I'd hurry, if I were you, Mr. Agreste." Nathalie sparkled at him as she turned to allow him to transform.

Chat was bounding on roofs scouting for Ladybug, but she seemed to be late to the party. Out of any day to be late.
He watched the Akumatized civilian, she seemed to be acting differently. "Anyone who stops me will be turned to stone!" Her thick blue dreaded hair bounced as she yelled. She appeared statuesque with her grey skin and jewelled eyes. Her jewels were magnified by her glasses, one was silver, the other aquamarine.

Luka waved from behind the curtain at his mini entourage. His father was finally giving him the opportunity to open for him; this was by far the biggest crowd Luka had ever played for. And Adrien wasn't there.
"Hello everyone! Who's excited to hear Kitty Section?" The MC bellowed to the crowd.
The reaction was mixed, but the cheers from stage right strengthened Luka.
"I said who's excited to hear Kitty Section?!" The MC yelled louder than before.
This time, the crowd followed the tone of his entourage, and cheers flooded through the audience.
"First, we need everyone to know - we just got word that there has been an Akuma alert! I don't know about everyone else, but those alerts are pretty meaningless to me now. However - if anyone wants to leave - please do so now!" Only a few people trickled out.
Alya leaned over the barrier to wave to Luka. She threw him a thumbs up before she left with the rest of his entourage, leaving only a sea of strangers.
If I leave now, I'll give away my identity. I'm sure they'll be fine. It's not like Adrien would miss a fight.
