If you've done no prior research and just magically found this (not a coincidence) then you're probably wondering "wtf is this person talking about?" Well, basically, shifting plays into the multiverse theory. It's the act of shifting your consciousness to another reality- the one of your choice. In other words, it's going to whatever fandom or place or experience you want to whenever you want to. It is 100% real, NOT a dream. Yes you can shift to anime or Harry Potter or bugs life, for whatever reason. It literally doesn't matter. Further chapters should explain more.
