Alex took Karin by surprised as she walked into their old house together.
" Who are you? "
" Alex, I've been in love with you and taking care of you ever since you moved in. "
" What? "
" Never mind that, I'm sorry. I promise I did not watch you change or anything. I still respected your privacy. "
" It's alright, but give us time alright? Let's go on a date sometime. "
Alex was overjoyed. He did not expect them to progress as fast as they did. He had expected more time in between them, but he was ok with it nonetheless, as it was his Karin. His and his only, his soulmate.
They spent the next few days, simply being themselves together. They talked about life, and what it was like. They fell deeper and deeper for each other with each passing day, with Karin agreeing to be his girlfriend.
And when they were ready, he held her tightly but gently as they crossed over into the other side. Peacefully, within each other's grasp. This one sided love, finally together, as it was meant to be.
