Smallville
A/n: It's the Smallville from Earth 167.
(Ben and Nora pull up into the Kent Farm in the car)
Nora: It was nice of Clark to invite us over to the farm.
Ben: Yeah, he told me he's makes a brisket for lunch.
Nora: Mmm, that sounds good.
(The two get out of the car and they see Clark walking towards them)
Ben: Clark.
Clark. Ben. Nora. It's good to see you again.
(Clark and Ben shake hands)
Nora: It's good to see you too. How are you?
Clark: Good. These past few months have been really quiet.
Ben: Dose that mean no superman-ing?
Clark: There were a few times I put the cape on. But for the most part, I've just been myself.
Nora: Is anyone else here?
Clark: Lois is finishing up cleaning the house and the girls are with there grandparents.
Ben: How is it having your dad back?
Clark: It's... it's like a dream come true. Since Crisis it's like my life has gotten better.
Nora: Have you noticed any other changes since then?
Clark: There has been one thing. Lex and I are best friends again.
Nora: Superman and Lex Luthor are best friends? That's so weird.
Clark: He's not only my best friend, he's also the president.
Ben: Having the president as a best friend. That's cool. At least he sounds better than the Lex in National City.
Clark: Come inside, Lois wants to meet you.
(The three go inside the house)
Clark: Lois.
Lois: I'm coming down.
(Lois walks down the stairs)
Lois: Hi. You must be Ben and Nora.
Ben: We are.
Nora: It's nice to meet you Lois.
Lois: So, who's hungry?
(Everyone sits at the table eating lunch)
Ben: Wow. That was good.
Nora: I think that's the best brisket I've ever had.
Ben: Did you use your heat-vision?
Clark: Nope. Just the Kent family recipe.
Ben: Is there a chance you could share the recipe with me?
Clark: I'll see if we have a pen and paper somewhere in the house.
Lois: Was that comment targeted at me?
Clark: Well, you do keep breaking every pen you touch.
Lois: Sorry, old reporter habits.
Clark: And what about all of the paper you used?
Lois: Well... I really like writing things down.
Clark: Oh really? Is that why you keep forgetting to get groceries.
Lois: No, I usually write whatever's on my mind.
Clark: What's on your mind now?
Lois: A certain farm boy who is good at cooking.
