The blind is not he whose eyes are plucked,
Or the sightless groping through the city's streets:
For these may have modicum of intelligence.
The blind is the purblind arrogant ignorant
Who fumbles with acolytes
Through a gamut of knowledge:
For he knows or sees next to nothing.
