Everyone's now ready with newspapers rolled in their forearms and legs, a duct tape securing it. Some were even holding makeshift weapons like a spear created from a broomstick. Some created a shiv using scissors. They even used covers of trash bins as shields.

Yeji who has taken charge of leading the group is now standing over a table, more like towering over it while both her hands are leaned on the edge of the table. Looking down at the school map they found, she thought of an escape plan with Jungwon.

"From what I remember, the weather forecast yesterday said it will rain today," Yeji started and looked out the window, "hmm... it looks cloudy, let's wait. We can use that to distract them."

Jungwon hummed in response before looking over at a certain someone to check up on her.

"So we make our way downstairs and take the route behind the school since almost all of them are gathered on the field, then we'll make our way to the gym. If it's true that they have supplies there we can loot it." Yeji continued.

"IF... there are no infected there but if there is? Then what..." Jungwon asked. There is a big chance some infected are there too.

"But weren't the gyms closed the whole day? If so, then probably no one's there. Unless someone went there and lead some of them there," Yeji stopped for a while and thought about it, "I guess there's only one way to find out."

Jungwon could only heave a deep sigh before agreeing to the elder. This is the only closest thing for survival.

Yeji has now informed everyone about the plan and they were just waiting for the right time to make their move.

"Are you okay?" Jungwon asked Luna.

"Hmm. Just a bit nervous but I'm fine don't worry." She answered painting a smile on her face while combing Leeseo's hair with her hands who's head leaned on her shoulder.

Suddenly she felt a warm hand enclosing her vacant palms. She looked up to see Jungwon giving her a reassuring smile causing to smile back.

"I'll protect you so don't worry," he said averting his eyes to the other girl that's leaning on the Luna's shoulder. "You and Leeseo."

"You don't have-"

Suddenly the rain started pouring. It's a que for them to start moving. Everyone stood up immediately.

"Guys remember to stay quiet, don't make any sounds that may attract them-" Yeji started getting cut off by her brother.

"What if I'm attractive-"

"Shut up child. Jesus. I wonder who you take after." Yeji shook her head before looking outside again to make sure the coast is clear.

Yeji lead the group out. Everyone managed to get to the first floor unscathed. They exited through the back door.

Luna felt uneasy as this route passes through the landfill where Leeseo's friend, Jinju, supposedly got that 'infection', more like the place where it all started.

While everyone was walking stealthily, back against the school building's walls, eyes up ahead of them waiting for Yeji's signal, Luna's eyes can't help but to look at where those spore like things were and to her surprise something caught her attention.
