"Okay class settle down its time to sit our our seats." Mrs Gretchen Fletcher said
There was a knock at the door as Steve,Bucky and Natasha all took their seats at their table as we as the rest of the class. Mrs Fletcher went to the door to see the headmaster with small girl.
"Sorry to interrupt but we have a new student for you." Mr Logan Baxter said
"Hi,sweetie what's your name?" Mrs Fletcher said as she squatted down to her.
"Saphira MacArthur.." she said softly.
"She's a little soft spoken when she meets new people." Janice MacArthur said
"That's okay mama. Come on sweetie lets introduce you to the class." Mrs Fletcher said
Saphira took her hand after her parents hugged her bye.
"Class we have a new student, meet Saphira MacArthur. Why don't you take a seat at the table with all the red chairs." Mrs Fletcher said as she pointed to Bucky's table.
Saphira sat in between Bucky and Steve.
"Hi, I'm James. But I sometimes go by Bucky cause my daddy is a James too and it gets weird." Bucky said
"Hi.." she said softly
"Hi, I'm Steve and this is our friend Natasha she is quiet like you." Steve said
"Hi.." she said softly again and waved back at Natasha.
During recess she and Natasha hid under the slide as the others played. During snack time the four kids shared their peanut butter crackers, pudding, bananas and blueberries. By the end of the day she was less shy. Janice and her husband Sebastian listened to her tell them about her day.
By the end of their preschool year they had become best friends.
