Hey guys, Author here. Usually I don't do this but I'm getting sick of seeing them.
You are allowed to feel the way you want about my books, I actually encourage all forms of criticism. Good and bad.
What I don't encourage is rudeness. You're allowed to dislike my book without being a jerk. In the tags it quite literally says #AngstWithSadEnding and yet whenever people get to the ending it's just rudeness. There's been a couple comments I've had to delete because it's not only rudeness towards my characters but rudeness towards me as a writer.
To say you "wasted" your time reading my book when I prepared you for the sad ending is just mean. I prefer you just don't read it.
Other than that, thank you for those that dislike it and move on. Thank you for those who add it to list that says, "Not my type" that's fine! My writing quite literally isn't going to be for everyone and I get that. But thank you to everyone and anyone who gives my books a chance and isn't rude about not getting the ending they want or the story that they want.
