this is a story and not a stupid thing @Quill-On-Paper has said, but still
context: about a year ago me and @Quill-On-Paper "adopted" two kids, both are technically older than me. in almost every friend i've been in i've been deemed the parent friend, and also the therapist friend, essentially to everyone in the group not just the first two.
recently one of our children, one of the original two, expressed their feeling that i'm their favourite parent. this was awhile ago, but i think an argument took place about this right before, again i am unsure. this turned into a battle for about five minutes then was dropped. anyways, today the same child gave me a stolen lollipop saying that i was their favourite parent.
so, IN YOUR R FACE @Quill-On-Paper!!!!
