This. Shit. What do I do now. The headlines read

That's why you don't put cameras in the training room. Apparently that clip was put in the blue lock behind the scenes to show my return after the accident and that was the only clip of mine in the training room or cafeteria and now the media made a whole thing out of it. Ugh I hate my life. I try to tell my friends and teammates that it was just made up.
I'm not talking to my parents about this- I'll just call them later.. Plus rumours like this die down in a bit.

Well. I haven't practiced in a bit. I should at least do that. I'm sure the others haven't seen it yet. I mean most don't have their phones.

I walk out to the gym and get on the cycle thing (I have no idea what it's called but I love it). Just as I start I see Ness walks in and smiles at me in his usual way. "Have you heard the news?" No. Fuck fuck. "What news..?"
"Oh? You haven't heard yet? I mean you were sick.. We're soon to have our match against Rin's team!"
"oh..OH. That's great! I'll be off then." I say as I leave. This place is going to be the death of me.

"Hey! You left without me!" you hear a voice just as the door is about to slam your face in. Nope. Not again. I take a step back just saving my face, fuming at the person who can't even check once. Just as Benedict comes in. I swear all these old people are jerks. "Oh. Y/n good to see your back and I hope you've heard about the match." "Yeah yeah." I say rushing out

I'll just get some brunch. Screw practice. Entering the cafeteria I run into Kaiser. "Oh... Y/n have you heard the
new-". Not another. I'll cry at this point. "YES I HAVE. There's a match against Rin's team."

Kaiser's POV:
Oh. She hasn't yet.. How do I tell her.. Uh. This is going to be bad. I'm sure she'll kill me, I mean I was the one who did hug her..? I can't help it but I think this is the first time rumours on my name are so humorous. It's almost good. It's that funny. "No, I meant this." I tell Y/n and grab seat next to her as she digs into a huge bowl of yogurt.
"Oh. This- I have- I'll get going then.." she says as she grabs her bowl and gets up quickly and walking as fast as she can in her state. What, I can feel the sadness swell up in my body as I slump against the chair.
"Was I like indirectly rejected? That too through the news...?"

Y/n's POV:
Ok. I forgot about that- and I didn't expect him to confront him that directly..? I was really caught off guard there- I should go back. Walking in he's still seated there as I go sit opposite to him.
"Uh yeah sorry- I didn't know what to say. I didn't mean to get you defamed.."

That's when his face changes into utter surprise. "What do you mean defamed? Why would you think that..? I just wanted to let you know.. plus I wouldn't mind if the rumours were true either" As he says that a dawn of realisation seems to hit him as he quickly slaps his forehead and looks back up at me beginning to say something again.

"You don't have to explain it's-" just as my phone rings. It's Ego. Wonder what he wants. "I'll brb" you say as you exit the room out to the hallway to take the call. "So I'm assuming you saw the news. I've made sure the rumours have been taken down. Would you like to have an interview denying the rumours?" First as I was readily about to say yes I thought Did I want that..?

"No need, just take down the rumours.. The interview would be too much as it just might come true.."

Little did you know that the walls weren't that thin as a blonde blueberry sat just past it with his face burning.
