Name: Sophia
Age: 21
Height: 5'6
Race/Ethnicity: Latina-American
Background: Her life wasn't the worst was just filled with neglect and abuse. The only reason she made it as far as she did in life was because of her best friend. The two of them had known each other since elementary school to their graduation from high school. Sophia had honestly planned on moving out and living with her best friend (now girlfriend at the time). But her girlfriend got uncurably sick and passed away.

As of right now, Sophia was on a cruise ship, drinking enough alcohol to make her pass out. Her one reason for being alive was gone, so who could blame her? The very last thing she could remember was a bolt of lightning that clearly showed a massive wall of waves. At this moment, she was already too drunk to care.

In the morning, Sophia could smell food but still couldn't see a thing. She tried getting out of bed to turn on the lights, but she fell in the process. Footsteps came in her direction again, "Stop, stay away from me!!!" Sophia looked everywhere, trying to adjust to the dark but failed. "Good morning to you too..." It was the same woman from last night. "Morning?" "Yes, morning. The sun is up, and I was hoping you'd help me get some things from that ship. That is after breakfast." Sophia still couldn't see a thing.

"Wait a minute, can you see me?" Sophia looked all around her frantically, trying to find whose voice was calling her. "Were you cursed with blindness?" This is where Sophia went dead silent, "I'm blind..?" "Believe me, it's for the best. I wouldn't want to accidentally turn you into stone." "..." Sophia backed up into the side of the bed and remembered where her cruise ship was headed to. "Where am I?" "You're on an uncharted island, a place where no one should be. The place where I've been banished thousands of years ago..."

Sophia knew where this story was going, "Medusa..?" The woman, now known as Medusa, silently stood right in front of Sophia, "That's my name." Sophia sat silently, trying to register her current situation. "Don't be afraid, you can't see me so you won't be turned into stone. Please grab my hand." Sophia had no other choice, so she grabbed Medusa's hand and followed her to some kind of dining room where she could smell eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Medusa helped her sit down. But as Sophia sat down, that's when she noticed something very concerning. "Where are my clothes..?" "When I found you on the beach, you were only in your underclothes. I don't know where your outer layer is."

Sophia couldn't worry about that right now, Medusa handed her a plate and a fork. Sophia tried to eat but couldn't even find the food on her plate. "Let me help you." Sophia felt so helpless as Medusa fed her. After she was done eating, Sophia stood up, "Thank you.." "You're welcome... Actually, you never gave me your name." "It's Sophia." "You're welcome, Sophia."

Medusa led Sophia back to the bedroom where they both sat. "I can't be the first person you met since... that incident." "You aren't, there have been many beautiful women like yourself who found themselves stranded here after some kind of disaster. But I must say, none of them have ever worn such embarrassing...undergarments."

"Stop looking you perv." "What? You can't just go around flaunting heart-shaped undergarments on a perfect posterior like that and expect me not to notice." Sophia blushed at that comment and retreated under the covers of the bed. "You're not the only one who's ended up here by accident, but you're still the only person to lose their vision. I think I know which Gods were responsible for that." Sophia emerged from the covers and asked lots of questions about the many different Greek gods and myths.

Medusa answered many of these questions and even told stories of her own, "I'll answer more of your questions, but I think we should eat first." Sophia agreed and followed Medusa to the dining area. "During this time of day, I usually eat outside. We don't have to, but I like the warmth of the sun as well as the slow breeze of the wind." "I don't know..." "Oh come on, you're already dressed for it." "Fine..."
