"Do not disturb your father when he is busy, God... Genevieve!" The (H/C) girl looked back at the door of her father's office, watching as her mother and twin brother came into the room. Seeing his son, Stefan's once bitter expression turned into one of pride. "ah, Odell you came" He said to his son before turning to his wife.
She wore her usual expression, lifeless eyes looking into his. "Please teach your daughter some manners."
"Yes sir." She replied, her reply to everything.
She then took her daughters hand, and walked the eight year old back to her room. She then smiled down at the child, not a genuine one. "Show me what you showed your father dear." The child looked up her mother a bit hesitant, she could sense that the air around them was tense.
She brushed it off before playing her violin. as she ended she looked up at her mother who seemed to be staring at the child with a blank, lifeless expression. "Mother?" The woman snapped out of whatever daze she was in as she stared at her daughter, then a small sad smile for on her face, not a genuine one.
"That was beautiful my love, just keep practicing."
