Young (Y/N) sat down facing the wall of her room, it was raining. Noya was not home. (Y/N) had to search the kitchen for anything she could find for her grandmother to eat and came across some bread.

"Of course I've eaten grandma!" lies.

"Oh, why I think Noya's on her way back" lies.

"O-oh yes I've taken my medication." lies.

There was not enough food.

Noya was probably not even on her way.

(Y/N)'s medication had finished two months ago.

So now, the eight year old faced the wall, in an attempt to hide her shame away from the world while crying heavily.

She sat there consuming the last bit of tissue paper in the house. She hadn't eaten for three days. It's all they had.

Later that night, Noya would scold (Y/N) for taking the bread she had selfishly kept for herself.

Year 850

"Hey, Reiner." Ymir started.

"What's the deal with that monkey?" 

"What do you mean?" I think he's trying to play dumb with her. 

"Oh? You don't know? That's a shock 'cause when you two saw it, your eyes where as wide as saucers-."

"Beast titan." I said quickly, causing Reiner and Bertholdt to whip their head my direction in shock.

"Aha! I got a reaction of of both of you, I am right!"

Then Eren decided to butt in. "What are you guys talking about?"

As they continued talking, I slowly started to wriggle my fingers. starting to finally warm up.

"Join us" Reiner said reaching his hand out to Ymir. "We all know that what you wan the most... is to protect Krista. We should be able to see eye to eye on that. We want to protect her too."

Are you forgetting something? Look down.

As I looked down I saw as the titans down below continued staring up and trying to reach us.

Oh yeah. I decided to cut in the conversation. "Do I get a choice?" I asked Reiner, pouting a little while batting my eyelashes at him.

"Not a chance, once we go back home and explain your situation they'll know what to do with you. You could be extremely helpful with those powers of yours."

I deadpanned. "Well, I tried" I said.

Then I started slouching bak.

And I fell.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Reiner scream, Eren following right after.

"Please don't eat me, please don't eat me,  please don't eat me!" All of a sudden I landed on something, and as I looked down, I saw all the titans staring at me. "Umm, hi?" I said waving.

A small titan then looked at their hand and started waving back, causing me to gasp as the rest of the titans followed.

They where designed to never harm an (L/N), only titan shifters have free enough minds to do so.

That's... pretty cool.
