"Hey Y/n, do you wanna go to this c-cafe with me?" Genya asked.

"Sure." Y/n replied. "Where is it?"

"It's this one cafe a few blocks away." He said. "It's really good, I think you'd like it.

"Can I go too?" Muichiro asked, joining in the conversation, making Genya a little irritated that it's now going to be the three of you instead of just you and him like he had hoped.

"Sure," Y/n said "if it's okay with Genya."

"Yeah, it's fine." Genya said.

Y/n POV

We walked into the cafe and ordered our food. Me and Genya ended up having a conversation, I was the one mostly talking, but he managed to stutter out a few sentences and some pretty funny jokes too.

After finishing their snacks and drinks We walked home. Mui lived the closest so we walked to his house first. Genya then offered to walk me to my apartment complex.

"I kinda feel like we were a little rude to Mui back at the cafe." I said, as we walked on the side walk.

"Why?" Genya asks.

"Well he was barely saying any thing. It was like he just came with us to sit there."

"Oh, that's just how he is, he doesn't like talking much." He replied.

"Hey, my apartment is on the next corner." Genya exclaimed as we neared my apartment complex.

"No way, that's were mine is." I replied. "I had no idea we're neighbors."

"Me neither." He said.

"How come I've never seen you in the mornings, then?" I asked, curious, one of us had to have seen the other one at least once.

"Oh, that's probably because I leave for school like at 8:45." He said, with a slight blush on his face. We walked in the building and waited for the elevator.

"So, u-um my cat drank some pasta, do you want to do this again some time?" He said as we approached my door.

"Sure, it was a nice cafe. Maybe next Wednesday." I said. "I should get chocolate cake next time. I kinda wanna the strawberry matcha boba next time too."

~Time skip~

It was late. I actually went to sleep at a somewhat decent time. At around 11:30, maybe 12 I woke up. I couldn't shake this feeling of being watched. I got up and closed the curtains.

It didn't help.

I went and got myself a cup of water.

As I opened my door, I saw the most beautiful being ever created. My cup fell out of my had but I didn't dare look away from the deity standing in front of me.

"What?" I said, still a little bit in awe of her beauty.

"That letter you accepted, it claimed that your beauty puts me to shame."

"Oh, that. Wait, you're Aphrodite?!" I said.

"Ha! Look at that, you're so self-centered you don't even recognize the truest of beauty when it is at staring you in the face." She said, growing even more mad.

"I-"

"Hush! Nothing you say can help you your fate is sealed. You are now cursed." The goddess said.
