Background: She and her siblings mostly raised themselves seeing as her father walked out on them. Her mother spent most of her time working to provide for them. Eventually she remarried hoping for love and help with bills. The new husband only came to treat the family horribly until he also walked out. Cassie ran slightly wild trying to fill the hole men keep leaving in her life. During college she married Alex. Soon they found out she was pregnant but lost the baby due to complications. Soon after her husband fell into a depression much like she did and became abusive. After the marriage ended she relocated to Quantico for a new start.
