♕ SAIGE ♕
I held my breath as the guy stopped. I came to a halt about a foot away from where he was standing.
Please don't let him think I'm an idiot.
He turned his torso towards me, I got a good look at his face. I took a sharp intake of breath.
Holy mother of cows.
The good-looking guy I had partially seen at the Gas Station looked even more good-looking now that I could see his face.
He, for a fact, was what I would describe as handsome. His blonde hair messy, and styled to the side with a few tufts of hair sticking out.
His brown eyes shining brightly at me, but his face was plastered with a cold, hard stare. He had a chiseled jawline, with no sign of stubble.
His nose was straight and his lips were thin. He had broad shoulders and looked to be fit.
And I just sat there for a minute ogling him. Good job, Saige. Good job.
The guy scoffed, turning his head and beginning to walk away.
"Wait!" I shouted, walking quickly to try and catch up to him.
"What do you want? I don't have time." He said sternly, not giving me a glance.
I gulped, slightly taken back from his hard tone. "You dropped something yesterday and I—"
"I don't know you." He quickly took a turn.
Could I have made a mistake? No. He was definitely at the Gas Station. I'm not crazy.
"I'm just trying to return—" I tried to reason with him. I followed him down the unfamiliar hallway.
"I didn't lose anything." He snapped at me.
I could feel his irritation with me. Even though I was at least a foot behind him.
"B-but..." I stuttered, my argument weakening.
He quickly spun around and closed the distance between us. He leaned in a little too close for my comfort.
My eyes widened and my jaw about hit the floor. I stared into his dark brown eyes.
He scowled at me and somehow still managed to look good. I bit my lip and tried to turn away from his hard glance.
"Keep whatever it is. I don't give a damn." Backing up, he pivoted and began casually walking down the hallway.
As if nothing happened. I blinked and felt myself blush. I stood there for a few minutes, dazed by what just happened. The image of his face leaning in close repeating in my mind.
I shook my head. Just thinking about how handsome he was has got me blushing furiously.
Focus. I'm in school. I need to get to my second class. Since I already missed my first class, I have to hurry to my next.
My mother is going to be so mad at me. I can already hear her lecturing voice in my head. I really need friends.
I have Rowan and Zaylee— but, oh.
It completely slipped my mind that they were probably vampires. That most likely means all the other students are as well.
Including the good-looking guy. Gosh, I'm such an idiot! These students aren't normal. He could of bit my neck and sucked me dry.
