Best Vacation Ever

This book is very close to my heart because it's different from what I normally write, but still exactly the same. It's more realistic with real world experiences, but still loaded with drama, humor, lovable (and hateable) characters, and tingle-inducing romance.

I drew on a lot of real life experiences in this book, and a lot of what happens in here has happened to me in one way or another. For example, when I went to Cuba with some friends I got a concussion, (who gets a concussion at a resort? me apparently) and I wrote that scene in the book, with one of my characters getting a concussion in the exact same way I did.

Another (more embarrassing) example is that the way Dean saves Lori's life in chapter 1 is exactly what happened to me in grade 7. The boy who saved me yelled at me, and I was so embarrassed I never talked to him ever again despite sharing classes with him and going to the same high school (so if you're that boy reading this, now you know why I never talked to you again lol! but thanks for probably saving my life!)
