Rose was absolved swamped with homework. She couldn't read potion equations for the life of her, and eventually just couldn't do it anymore. She began crying from frustration.
Scorpius, Her boyfriend, saw her crying and decided to sit and comfort her for a little while. He whispered that he loved her as she dozed off.
He truly did love her though. He had a band in his pocket he was just waiting to find the right diamond for.
He kissed her cheek and stood up, careful not to wake her, and went back to his dorm.
