3rd Person POV

The car stopped on the school's campus near door building C. Many students were walking around the campus getting their class schedule in order, catching up with old friends, or eating lunch and hanging out with friends. The short, brown haired girl looked out the car window and looked nervous.

"Are you sure this is the right place? It looks different than I imagined from your story," the girl said as she looked at the driver and the passenger seats. The driver had long light brown hair and wore a crescent moon necklace with a black hoodie. The passenger was short and messy brown hair with a small half ponytail and wore a baggy t-shirt.

"Well it's been about 20 something years Azura," Amity chuckled as she looked around from the car, seeing that things had changed since the last time they were there.

"How much do you want to bet Bump is still in charge?" Luz playfully asked.

"Highly unlikely but I'll bet 10 bucks."

"Deal!" They shook hands and laughed. They looked back to see Azura looking out the window nervously.

"It'll be ok sweetie, Aunt Eda and Lilith will be here to keep you company and besides, you'll be coming home for Christmas!" Luz said, trying to cheer her daughter up. Azura smiled and hugged the two of them the best she could since she was in the backseat of the car.

"Thank you moms. I'm going to miss you two."

"You're welcome sweetheart," Amity said softly, "We'll call whenever we can to check up on you."

"But as a friendly reminder, don't be like me when I was here," Luz joked, chuckling at her own expense. Azura smiled, feeling a bit cheered up.

"What if they make fun of my name, or if I get bullied like you were mom?" Azura asked, trying to convince her parents not to leave her.

"It's all going to be ok sweetie," Amity said, resting her hand on her daughter's cheek, "It's going to take time to get used to all of this but you wont regret it, I promise." Luz nodded in agreement.

"Your mother is right, it takes time to get used to these things. But don't worry, we'll call you whenever we can to check up on you."

Azura smiled and hugged her two moms.

"I'll miss you both. See you on Christmas break!" Azura hopped out of the car with her bags and walked to the dorm building as her proud mothers watched from the car.

"She's gonna do great," Luz said as she began to drive off.

"Yeah, I do hope Ed and Em go easy on her."

"Aren't they the new art teachers?"

"Yup, and Gus is the assistant principal too."

"I heard from Hunter that Willow and Boshca are both in the plant business."

"What about Hunter? What's he been up to?"

"He's a medic now. I'm proud of the guy, and jealous. He gets a paid vacation to the Uk while we have to pay every expense for ours. Doesn't being the head of a multimedia company of a children's book character get any vacation benefits?!?!"

Luz clearly looked annoyed at this and Amity just smiled at her wife. She kissed Luz's cheek to calm her down, which worked.

"You want lunch?" Amity asked. "I haven't eaten anything today."

"But the hotel had breakfast, and you didn't eat any of it?!"

"I wasn't hungry! That big steak burger stuffed me! It was probably still digesting this morning too."

Luz sighed and chuckled. "Amity will always be Amity. 24 years of knowing you and you still refuse to eat anything."

"And that's a problem?"

"Well yeah you need to eat. But I wouldn't have it any other way." She pecked her lips and Amity went tomato red. "Same old tomato face Amity."

"Shut up," Amity squealed as she punched Luz's shoulder.

"Lunch at Parks Coffee?" Luz chuckled. Amity silently nodded as Luz drove off towards it. Luz smiles at her flustered wife and patted her back. Amity looks up at her and smiles back. Then she suddenly pecks Luz on the lips back as it was Luz's turn to be flustered.

"Don't distract the driver!" Luz said as she stopped the car. Amity laughed. The laugh was contagious and Luz joined in too. They were still laughing when they started driving again. A match made in heaven is what they were and always will be.

Luz Noceda and Amity Noceda, together forever. And to think they were roommates?! (heh I'm trying to be funny T-T)

—-----------------------------------------------------

While Luz and Amity's stories are over-

"Don't end the story like that!"

"How else do you expect me to end it, Amity? With a simple 'The End'?"

"Well no-"

"Then how do you suppose he ends it then?"

"Luz don't encourage him."

"What? It's my story too and I like that open end. It can make the reader draw their own conclusions on what happens next."

"Luz has a point and that's why I wrote it like that. Now can I finish typing?"

*ahem* As I was saying, While Luz and Amity's stories are over, their daughter Azura's is just starting out. But that's another story.

"Nailed it!"

"Thanks Luz. Now keep your eyes on the road before you run over a student!"

"Oh shit! Right! Bye bye readers!"

"Bye everyone! You've been a great audience!"

And with that sweet note, I'm afraid it is time to end. Thank you so much for reading, and good night!!!
