[Tape Starts]

INTERVIEWER: When did you all finally get in contact with Rhiannon?

Karen: Well we went out to Manny's one night after a show at Mcnasty's and somebody just had to give us a sweet surprise. She was sitting on one of the stools by the counter a few booths away from us.

Warren Rojas (drummer, Daisy Jones & The Six): We were like madmen that night trying to figure out who was gonna talk to her first! [smiles and laughs] Camila and Billy were so confused the entire time, it was the funniest thing.

Graham: Billy was the only one who really didn't see anything in Rhiannon or why we wanted her around. We just thought she was cool and Billy being Billy, he couldn't see that.

༒ "Y'know, that groups been fussing over you for like the past 20 minutes." Dayana says with a cheeky smile, wiping down the counter.

"Oh really? And how do you know?" Rhiannon teased with a cigarette between her lips as she quickly looked back to the said group. Much to her convenience, it was the same group for a couple nights before.

"They've been staring at you since you got here dude, they're practically obsessed with you! I've seen them at Mcnasty's before too. I think they're a band,"

"That's a wonderful observation Di." Rhiannon sighed with a quick rub to her left eye, messing up her makeup just a bit.

Dayana stared at her with a very unsubtle confused face, wondering what had her so distressed in the matter of seconds. "What's got you so down? You wanna hear my singing to American Pie from earlier or something?"

The two laughed quietly to each other, careful to not interrupt the other costumers in the room.

Rhiannon chuckled, "I, I met those guys back at Bernadette a few days ago. Didn't say hi, but they were staring at me like crazy."

"Any of them cute to you?" The Silvers girl asked in a not-so-discreet way as she looked back and forth from Rhiannon and the group who were still arguing, but settling down slowly.

Fortunately, Daisy caught Dayana's eye just in time as she passed by, leaving ten minutes early from her shift and thankfully saving Rhiannon from answering Dayana's question.

Dayana's eyes widened, "See you Daisy!"

"See Ya!" Daisy shouted back before leaving.

There was silence between Rhiannon and Dayana for a good 20 seconds after that. Dayana had her eyes widened once again, popping out even more than before.
She smiled mischievously with an idea brooding in her mind, quickly leaving Rhiannon to the booth that held the group of six.

Rhiannon: [laughs] Dayana was very spontaneous. I always thought that was something she was cursed with, but after that day when she'd gotten me The Six's number I had realized it was a blessing that I had met someone who knew that if I couldn't do something that needed to be done, she would do it for me. That's just who she was. She always had my back and I had hers [smiles].

Graham: Very lively girl Dayana was. She saved our asses from embarrassing ourselves and told us straight to our faces that if we didn't give her our number for Rhiannon right then and there then we'd never really know when we'd see her again.
We wrote it on the back of the bill and she gave it to Rhiannon before she up and left.
If it wasn't obvious already, of course we didn't see her after that [chuckles].

Eddie: She fucking teleported out of Manny's before we could even get a word in! It was really frustrating. In the sense that we always sat on the edge of our seats, never really knowing when we'd see this girl again. She messed with my head so much at the time I really started to think I was going crazy.

I don't even think she called anytime after that.

Rhiannon: Adina was always on my ass when it came to the shows at Bernadette, I was bussing tables at Manny's from time to time with Dayana and Daisy to earn extra money, and I could never get a good nights fucking rest whenever Junia brought over a guy and just had to have him fuck her brains out at the ass crack of dawn.

So no, I didn't come around any time soon to calling them, but it was on my mind of things I needed to do.
