Y/N POV
It was a normal day in wall Mariya. As usual towns people talking about how their tax money goes to the "filthy pigs" called the scouts. I don't believe their filthy, I strongly disagree! I admire the scouts and want to be just like them!
I hurry to the gate of the wall as the scouts are about to come back from their expedition. I see commander Erwin come in first and I know everyone is close behind! I climb up on top of a pile of crates as towns people tower over me.
I watch in amazement as all the scouts come in. I hear towns people complaining once again but I choose to ignore it.
*time skip brought to you by the titans*
It's getting late and I decide to head home before it gets to dark to even see a 5m titan in front of me. I've been studying titans for as long as I can remember. Titans amaze me, their such confusing beings. It is sad though. How they could've once been living people.
I quickly pull those thoughts from my head as I approach my house. I walk inside to be greeted by my mother and father who had just sat down for dinner.
"Hi Mom. Hi dad." I say as I sit down to eat my food.
"Y/N you look like you had a good day considering you're covered in dirt!" My dad says in a playful way.
"Yeah I did" I reply, " how was your guy's day?"
"Oh, just the usual farming, cooking, cleaning, collecting fire wood you know the usual things." My mom said.
"Fun, fun." I reply with.
The rest of dinner was silent. Considering we didn't know what to talk about. It wasn't the bad type of silence it was comfortable.
After I finished eating, I washed up, put pajama's on and went to bed. I slept peacefully. Although I had this feeling as I lied in my bed, the feeling something bad was gonna happen. I pushed it away as fast as it came and enjoyed my sleep.
*the next day*
I woke up in the morning that feeling still there. I continued to ignore it as I went to the kitchen for breakfast. My parents were already there waiting for me. I sat down and ate quickly as I wanted to go outside and play soccer with the other kids in town.
"Woah Y/N slow down, you're gonna get a stomach ach!" My dad chuckled as I scarfed down my food.
"Sorry dad... just exited... we are playing... soccer today." I said as I stuffed food into my mouth.
Both my parents chuckled at me as I scarfed my food down quickly finishing. I got up and put my bowl into the sink then ran to my room and quickly got dressed. I ran to the door after brusing my hair and teeth and put my shoes on. "Bye mom. Bye dad." I said as I ran out the door.
I was walking towards the plane area were we usually play soccer when a 60m titian was standing at the wall. I stared at it confused when all of a sudden it kicked a whole in the wall. Titans immidently came rushing in. The streets were filled with screams. I ran for my life back to my home dodging titans feet and hands.
When I got home I felt my eyes go blurry as they clouded with tears. My house had been crushed by a boulder. My dad was alive just trapped in the rubble. I ran over and tried to pull him out as a 20m titan came closer and closer to my house. I tried and tried to pull my dad out but I kept failing.
"Y/N please just leave me run for your life. Please. My legs are broken you have a long life ahead of you run for me." My dad begged.
"No! I'm not leaving you you're all I have left! I'm not giving up!" I yelled. Considering my mom was killed by the boulder.
"GO!" My dad yelled as the titan caught up and grabbed him. I watched as the titan bit him in half.
I decided to respect my dad's wishes and I ran to the ship docs and borded a ship. I was all alone now. Only me. 'What am I gonna do? I'm only 15. I don't know what to do. I shouldn't get close to anyone else. I can't afford to go through this pain again.' I decided. I hid in the corner of the boat away from all the people, currled up in a ball, and let sleep consume me. It's gonna be a long few days...
