Seeing her in this stage, why does it remind me of....

My mom?

I tried controlling but memories overflew my mind along with tears.

7 years ago:

"Innie! What do you want me to make?" In-Yeop's mom yelled from the kitchen with a smile on her face.

"Mom, I don't have time for this! I have lots of other things to do! Just make me something, I gotta go to practice. You know what? I don't even want anything. I'll just eat something at the company." In-Yeop said in a hurry, not even saying goodbye. And he left the house.

"In-Yeop! In-" Just as his mom shouted, there was no response.

➵𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞'𝐬 𝐏.𝐎.𝐕:

"My Innie has grown so big." She said as she chuckled.

"Did In-Yeop go?" In-Yeop's dad asked coming out of the shower.

"Yes, without taking his breakfast." His mom aka Min-hee said.

"He's been so focused lately. When will he understand that group will not be worth it Min-hee?" His dad aka Hyung-Suk said with a sigh.

In-Yeop's mom frowned and looked at her husband who was drinking coffee while reading the newspaper.

"서울에 폭우. 사람들은 놀랐습니다. 100년마다 내리는 비. 서울의 봉우리에 강한 천둥과 번개가 칩니다."

(Heavy rains in Seoul. People are alarmed. The kind of rain which comes every 100 years. Thunder and lightning in the peaks of Seoul)

"Heavy rains?" In-Yeop's mom said as she looked out of the window.

It was raining really heavy, nothing was visible except for the light green colour of the trees surrounding their house.

"Oh no, In-Yeop. He went out in the rain!" His mom exclaimed as she got worried for her son.

"He'll be fine. He's a tough man and my son after all." His dad said as he applauded himself for practically no reason at all.

"You really don't know when to crack jokes, Hyung-Suk." His mom said and chuckled.

"Jokes? I'm speaking facts right here miss lady." His dad said and acted like he got insulted.

"I'll call In-Yeop." His mom said and dialled his phone number.

"거신 번호는 현재 전화를 받지 않습니다. 나중에 다시 시도하십시오."

(The number you have dialled is currently not answering the call. Please try again later.)

"He has become so busy that he doesn't have time to even pick up our calls." His mom said and sighed softly.

"He'll pick up soon, don't worry." His dad said and continued reading his newspaper.

In-Yeop's P.O.V:

Sweat dripping off my forehead, I was determined.

I can do this.

I made swift moves and looked like a great dancer.

"Okay guys! That was amazing. Now, with more energy, more energy!" Our choreographer said with a supportive face.

After what seemed like forever, our dance practice was finally over for the day.

I hadn't realised that the time was almost 9:30.
