From when I was ages 0 to 5
I was your world and stars too
I felt loved within that time

Understand that I missed you
From when I was ages 6 to 11
I had first plays and concerts too
I felt like I had no one at only 7

Understand that I hated you
From when I was ages 13 to 17
I was left to blame for his acts too
I felt like I had to change for me

Understand that I wanted you
From when I was ages 18 to 21
I wanted to be the me to approve
I felt I was never good enough for you
