[ found written on a star ]

it astounds me how some
people still cannot truly view
and acknowledge the beauty
of the moon and the stars that
scatter throughout the dark
sky. and a lot of people are too
absorbed into their daily lives
to truly comprehend the true
definition of beauty that lies
within those stars. but i can
relate to that because i am
like those stars myself. i know
i am beautiful but i will always
keep shining brightly, even if
nobody sees it like the way i do.
