Lauren's POV:
After freshening up and setting up both the living room and kitchen in preparation for company, Hunter and I were chilling on the couch. She was lazily stretched out on the longer sofa, browsing the TV while I resided on the shorter one, on my phone.
"Should I play some music?" Her question drew my attention from my phone to her. Considerably, I shrugged,
"Sounds good to me."
"Alright what genre?" Hunter asked, exiting Netflix and going to YouTube. My attention went back to the addictive game on my phone as I spoke,
"Uhhhh...I don't know I have no idea what kids these days listen to," I waved her off. A loud laugh flew from her,
"Bitch- kids these days? Like you not one?" She arched an eyebrow in amusement. Still playing my game, I shook my head,
"Not as far as music goes, absolutely not. I'm like fifty when it comes to that."
"You funny as hell Lauren," Hunter shook her head, chuckling as 'Sativa' by Jhene Aiko and Swae Lee smoothly filled the room's comfortable silence. Bobbing my head along, I softly smiled to myself given I knew this song.

A few knocks hit the door causing Hunter and I to stand and walk over to greet whoever it was.
Hunter cheesed as she did a few claps just before I turned the knob. "I'm kind of excited omg!"
Yes she's a very social person, but what many don't know, and I've come to realize, is that Hunter doesn't really have anyone close to her. She's used to large parties in which she hosts, but small get-togethers with friends? She's not very familiar with them. Chuckling at her enthusiasm, I swung open the door with a bright smile.
"Boo bearrr!!" Aria squealed, tackling me in a hug, and causing a squeal from me as well.
