Birthday Gifts:
Matt's POV:
"Hey birthday girl! What's up?" I asked while getting on my board.
"Matt, you know I hate making a big deal out of my birthday. It's just an ordinary day, going to school with my bestie" she said playfully punching my shoulder.
"Happy birthday beautiful" I said handing her a small black box.
"What is this?" she asked with tone that said she didn't want it, but an expression that said otherwise.
"You didn't have to get me anything"
"I know but I wanted to" I grinned and motioned for her to open it
She opened it and her face lit up. It's a heart shaped locket with a picture of us from her 10th birthday.
"Oh my gosh! Matt you shouldn't have!"
"You like it?" I asked, as if I didn't know the answer.
"Like is an understatement, it's perfect, I'm never going to take it off! Thank you so much!"
"Anything for you" I said as we pulled up to the school and she put on the locket.
Dylan's POV:
As Matt and I approached the building, a close friend walked over.
Megan handed me a big gift bag.
"Happy birthday girly" Megan said, smiling
"Aw thank you, but seriously neither of you had to get me anything"
"You deserve it" Matt said
"Yeah, plus you might need to wear what I got you tonight!"
"What's tonight?" I asked, slightly confused.
"I have to get to class" Megan said, walking away
"Yeah, gotta go" Matt said as he began to wal the opposite direction of our first period.
That was weird.
