I didn't hear anything from Nyx or Mor or, well anyone, for three days. Going to school was more exhausting than usually because I was so worried something happened with the alliance between The Night Court and Eris. I couldn't concentrate on the lessons, my head full of thoughts and worries. Maybe Eris' father, Beron, found out. Maybe was going to start a war. Or Eris betrayed them. Or something else was up. Maybe it had something to do with the business Nesta had at Windhaven. Something big could be coming towards Prythian again. It was almost ridiculous how much happened to that Island the past decades. It seemed like Prythian would be fighting against peace. Maybe some wicked curse somebody put on the land a long time ago.

I blinked and realized again where I was. Math class. Mr. Simmons was writing some formula on board while talking about different methods of solving it. I stopped paying attention to math since last year. It wasn't necessary for my graduation, I didn't need to write a final exam about it, which is why I just sat here and tried to not look too bored.

"You've got an idea?" Yana leaned over to me, here brown hair falling over her shoulder. I shook my head.

"Nope. You?" She shrugged.

"Sort of, but I don't know how to start." I smiled plain.

"Sorry, but I can't help you with that." Yana sighed, her green-gray eyes filled with frustration.

"I didn't thought so, to be honest. You are not very smart."

"Hey!" I exclaimed in a whisper-yell to not get the attention of our teacher.

"I am smart!" Then I added.

"I am just not smart in maths." Yana smiled and stuck out her tongue at me.

I smiled too, knowing she was just trying to fool with me, as I felt it. Power rippling through the air in waves. Everyone noticed it, our bodies reacted all the same at the unused feelings. I got goosebumps all over my skin and I saw Yana shiver as she went back to the formula.

I knew she wouldn't be able to place it and would just go with a random shiver. But I knew what it meant. It was a signal. Nyx was here.

My hand shot up at the same time as I started packing my stuff into my backpack.

"Yes, Amber?" Mr. Simmons looked at me irritated. I didn't raise my hand the whole lesson and now I was quickly packing my stuff. I knew I was acting weird but I didn't care at all.

"I don't feel well." I said while I continued to pack.

"May I leave, please?" my backpack was already packed and even if he said no, I would leave. And he knew that too. So he just sighed deeply and gestured towards the door.

"Don't forget to log off at the secretariat." I just nodded and ignored Yana's confused look.

I left the whole building and walked behind the gym hall, where I knew no one could spot us.

"What the hell are you doing at my school, Nyx?" I asked and a second later he and Nesta appeared before me, him holding the hand of his aunt. Magic worked weird and wasn't easy to understand. Nesta was able to walk between different worlds, yet she wasn't able to winnow in one world.

"Can you come with us for a few days?" Nyx asked and Nesta added instantly.

"Probably for a few weeks." I blinked. What...

"First of all: Why?" I asked, as I took Nyx hand. Speaking here would be stupid. Wind ripped on me and then we where in my room. Which seemed way to small with two powerful High Fae in it.
